Awesome video. Great choreography, nice opening, good use of sound and music. I loved it.

The ONLY little knit-pick I have is the one part where the guy with the red sabre lowers takes a stance where he lowers the tip of the sabre to the ground and it pushes the grass aside instead of burning it. It just broke my trance for half a second, but then the fighting started again and I was pulled back in.

Love this video. THE best light saber fight i have ever seen. Better than Starwars. I love how you can see the moves and it is not just a blur of colors. I would have to give a a 4.9 out 5 and a 9.8 out of a 10. Tips for the next one. light saber should turn off when the guy who dies drops it. And when the victor wins he should not have stuck the saber in the ground like a regular sword.

Well I still love the video. But to all those bickering about the mis-representations; You forget A. This is a video made two years (going on three) ago. They did it for fun. It's obvious they were influenced by Star Wars but they weren't trying to live out your fantasy world, obeying every rule of, the force, star wars and even realism which live in your sci-fi heads. B. Great video. Great music. Great introductory plot speech. Obviously an amazing lightsaber sequence. Very emotional. Without sounding horrible it is good to see the antagonist win every now and again. It makes a change for the villain to beat the hero especially when it comes to Star Wars. However there is just one thing I dont get.. why does the protagonist have a red lightsaber?? Or is there some symbolic/philisopihical theme I'm missing here.

the common misconception is that the colors denote something in their "force". What it truly is (according to Lucas Arts tech sheets) is the focus crystal designates the color of beam it generates.

I know that lightsabers have focusing crystals being a fan of the KOTOR series. However red and purple are the traditonal sith colours like blue, green and yellow are tradional Jedi colours. However this video ignores the formula and I hope to think its not by accident and theres an intellectual reason. My guess is that this isnt traditional star wars as in the war they are fighting isnt Star Wars related therefore Star Wars formula's dont count. Lightsabers=Star Wars is an unfair recognition?

Well it's simple, Jedi can use purple fousing crystals as well. Although Sith have been known to use purple as well. (Like the force ghost of Revan in KOTOR2 using a purple shoto saber and a red normal saber.) So this could have a Sith Lord fighting another Sith Lord for power. Or a Jedi fighting a Sith.

One thing i really enjoyed is that it was in a open, well lit area. Not isolated in an area and poor lighting. The actual Star Wars movies didnt have any jedi fight seens in a well lit area such as this. One thing I didnt like tho was that when the saber hit the ground, it didnt slice into it or turned off. Along with that there was no lightsaber marks or such.
