I have the full show on DvD, but then I took part and good old Steve gave me a comp copy. I'd love to give people copies but I'm hoping when the BBC rerun this show, they bring all the participants to a flash hotel in London!

For everyone who's saying they need it for revision, is it this in particular or just more info on the psych behind it? If it's the latter I'd recommend "The Lucifer Effect" written by Zimbardo himself after Standford.
was a bad experiment i think, choice of groups was shockin if u look at how much stronger the prisoners are to the guards, results would be completely different if you had swapped the groups around
Well I don't think they should have repeated the standford prison study 1971. However, the newer one is alot easier to see! I am visually impaired the the vid's from 71 are hard to see!!

@dominokoolfm I'm going to write to the BBC and ask them to put it on iPlayer, maybe they will if enough people ask them?? Otherwise I'll just keep looking on the internet, I'd really like to watch it!

hi.. Search "the experiment" on wikipedia (doc) org for the TV show info page. At the bottow of the page you will find two "external links". The first one leads you to the The Experiment page inside the University of Exter webpage. Once again at the bottow of this page you will find a link to a flyer with ordering information on the dvds.

This series was immense... been looking for it everywhere and can only find the $100 dvd!!
I wish BBC would air it again... I would much rather this than Come Dine with Me and some of the other shit they show on telly..
