im 13, and im prabably the stalkiest 13 yo. and i weigh 180. but ive been lifting weights for 6 months and have gained a CRAPLOAD of muscle mass. but its hard for me to run more than a mile. i have football starting in a few months and 3 times a week we will be running 2-4 miles. so i really need to build endurance. btw, i play running back. so any football players that have extra tips, let me know :)
I also play soccer and am 16, I do my intervals starting with 2:30 minutes at medium pace, then switch up to fast pace for 2:30 and ill be alternating like this for 30 minutes. I do this process twice a day. Do you think it is ok?
@11033066099 No you shouldn't focus on tensing any of your muscles, when you run you will automatically use your abs so you shouldn't tighten them by force.

I started to change my pace every 10-30 seconds( when running my Intervals).
But i noticed i was stopping hard and it didn't my feet much but when i was running i was thinking of another one of your videos about SAQ Training and you were talking about how its about training your feet Neurologically and i want to make sure I'm doing things right, so is there a proper way to change pace? (Fast to slow for the most part)
I can run about 3-4 miles before I cant run any further. I'll try this out next time :D. Its not really my legs either that get tired, Ive got nicely toned legs, its just the breathing, dont know how to explain it. either way I'll try this! Thanks for the info man!
@arterialshadow i have good legs too i can run about the same distance is kind off like a trouble breathing i dont have asthma but i do have trouble breathing after 3 and 1/2 miles
@pivot0900 Yeah, i also just found out that running on a tread is MUCH easier than outdoors xD The wind and all, you know? I can run like 2 miles and be like "GUUUUUH" at the end, because im so used to running indoors! XD FAIL on my part. Its so much harder to breathe outdoors...oddly enough x.x
