I liked very much this song, it really is an excellent job! But, where did you find these samples? You downloaded them from some place or you made them from yourself? I need to know this coz I'm trying to do a song using milkytracker but I have difficulties with the samples, and all the chiptunes I heard seems to use very similar samples... Anyway, congratulations man!

well timbaland stole (basically copied everything) from a finish artist called Janne Sunni, and made it into a song with nelly furtado.

that was also a chiptune before timbaland stole it ,

hmm well i cant remember how i did it, look through the different options, it should be a place where you can chose .wav .xm or .mod.

Can you please tell me where i can download basic instrument sounds ? I've downloaded samples on "freesound" but i can only open them in the sample list, not in the instrument list (even when it's a simple snare shot)...

well firstly, you dont need samples, you can use the sample editor to make your own, but for drums, it can be fun to have samlpes. but you can't open the samples via the instrument list, just open them via the sampler list and ue them as you would use instruments in the instruments list.

if you want more samples you can go to modarchive, there you can download tracks others have made and open them with Milky and save the samples or instruments you like, for later use

I was lucky to have family in the games industry as it was being born so i got every console up to the ps3 hehe (just thought i'd make you a little jeleous).

Anyway another great 8bit track, theres something pleasing about 8bit sounds thats really hard to describe, could just blame it on nostalgia lol.
