Look Im A Die Hard Auburn Fan But That Boy Prothro was the truth an Alabama is going to win tha Championship again this year HATE to say it but very very true but Long as you keep in it in tha sec n try to keep it in tha state I dont care But I agree wish I could have seen Prothro in tha NFL would have been nice..

I'm a born and bred die-hard Gator fan and will tell you 2 things
1.) Bama fans are great sports and are very classy
2.) That was the saddest injury i've ever seen that happened to an incredible athlete like Prothro.

The same can be said about Florida fans as well. I've lived in three other SEC states (excluding Alabama of course) and the Gator fans were some of the most generous and knowledgeable fans I've been around.

Appreciate what you just said YouCanCallMeAl, I still blame Shula for having him in the game. I know he would of had one hell of a career in the NFL, just a shame he never got that chance.

@YouCanCallMeAl1022 Gator fans like this make me happy. I'm a Crimson Tide fan, and while all of my friends were talking about how glad they were that Tebow got a concussion, I was the one telling them to shut up. I don't wish an injury to happen to any football player, even a small one. What happened to Prothro was awful, but it came from a bad coaching decision from our coach who didn't know how to play when his team was ahead. I wish I could've seen what Prothro would've done, but now I can't

yeah its the team doctors fault his career is over they botched the surgery and he got a staph infection. should have sent him to dr jim andrews

Indeed, it was very sad to see him go down. I thought he'd be able to come back, doesn't look like that'll happen now. QUATTROOOOO

Well, it started out great and the final score was fine, but I think about that game now as the end of Tyrone Prothro's career. Pro was one of the good ones. Roll Tide!
