There is always talk about "doing" people and many officers are bullies who pick on easy targets but shy away from danger.
If I were to be called for jury service I would be very wary of any testomony given by a police officer. Without corroboration I would not regard any police evidence as reliable.
The IPCC, said there were no CCTV images of the assault because there were no cameras in the area. On 14 April, the Evening Standard wrote that it had discovered at least 6 CCTV cameras in the area. This used to happen a few years ago in Portland, OR when people were (often violently) protesting the Iraq war. The PPB would take ANYONE in the area and arrest them at random. It was later shown that this was to inflate arrest numbers for the news to make it look like the cops were doing their job. I must say though, I haven't had much problem with the PPB. It sounds like he had a heart attack from the stress of what he'd just been through. Clearly, the policeman who hit his legs to cause him to fall, should have the book thrown at him. It must be said that in situations like this where the crowd is out of control, the police are clearly on edge and innocent people get hurt.

Mr T was a known alcoholic and as oesophagus pharyngeal bleeding along with acute liver damage bleeding through alcohol misuse can start at anytime, there is doubt: in any case the benefit is given to the accused, as it has been since with our law since year dot. No case to answer here.

This used to happen a few years ago in Portland, OR when people were (often violently) protesting the Iraq war. The PPB would take ANYONE in the area and arrest them at random. It was later shown that this was to inflate arrest numbers for the news to make it look like the cops were doing their job. I must say though, I haven't had much problem with the PPB. The average officer is a good, upstanding member of law enforcement. However, there seems to be a cadre of officers who are rotten.

Hell; it could have been something as simple as shock that killed him considering what happened. Sounds like the police are feeling all good about themselves since they spared shooting him in the head or pounding his skull. Don't let them assume first name basis. It's presumptuous and rude. And any time you have to complain, go straight to the IPCC as all you'll get are lies and pathetic excuses.
You can make them pay for wrongdoing, but you have to stay calm and focused and know what you're doing.
