I was at Camp Pendleton in California waiting for my nephew who is an EOD tech (bomb difuser) in the Marines to get home from Afghanistan. We were at the EOD shop on base waiting for a couple of hours and they were playing tunes on a stereo. They played this song which I had never heard before. I searched for broken glass on youtube and found this video. Seems quite apropriate to be playing at a Marine base EOD shop.

This is actually a kick ass, energetic, powerful song. So I take back that they've lost their edge. Many bands do though, but if you're getting your will to play from a bottle then perhaps you're playing for the wrong reasons. With me it got to the point the shows were the smallest part of my day, everything became about partying. But Id have to pace myself, have enough not to have shakes but still be coherient to play.We'll have to wait and see on BUCKCHERRY! I hope they stay!

Every band thatgets sober goes through a phase where they start writing "meaningful" songs. Their attitudes change, their music takes a hit. I quit all my drug/alcohol use too but it doesnt effect my music. Im just more pissed off and agressive. AA/NA might save lives (?) but it kills rock n roll!
