Wow, billy is amazing. Probably the best ive heard his vocals live. sometimes at their concerts when theyre playing with electrics in stead of acoustics it almost sounds like billy is trying to sing to loud to keep up with the volume of the instruments which made it a bit pitchy

dude, sorry. i agree on their most recent tour things were looking grim but Teargarden by Kalaidescope is gonna be sick! i've heard some clips of songs and billy's really on it. He's using old Siamese Dream/Gish gear and everything. He really is back on track. and the drummer is pretty good too.

I've listened to both versions of this song. From a guitarist's point of view I like this version way better than the original. The lyrics mean way more in the acoustic version. Just think about this, do lyrics mean more when sung in heavy metal (the worst type of music on earth) or acoustic rock. Smashing Pumpkins rock on and if you guys ever read this message try working more on acoustic rock in your live performances. I didn't like the music they made in 1988. That doesn't mean they should have stopped making music in 1988. We would never have had Gish or Siamese Dream or MCIS. I think they need to improve their own filters now though. If he can't write a good song, scrap it, and think up a new one until he can come up with a whole CD of good songs. A CD of: Superchrist, The Rose March, Bleeding the Orchid, United States, 99 Floors, Peace and Love, As Rome Burns, Gossamer, Mama, and !, I would buy in a second

Very true. It's why I don't critisize Billy for doing his own thing. It would suck if he played music his heart wasn't into. Doesn't change my opinion that most everything after MCIS was lackluster though. As unfair as it is, we get to decide what's good or not.

i thought adore was pretty good. best lyrical work imo and pretty heartfelt. alot of ppl didnt give it a chance because it wasn't as hard rock as the previous albums. if you are into harder rock then thats cool i just dont think its fair to say it was bad just because you didnt like the specific genre of it.
