  • I think my favorite number is 10 now.

  • I agree with Harriet it was the right thing to do. Albeit she destroyed the life of many, the Syrocax on the ship were willing to do the same. The Doctor was being arrogant and acted like a spoilt little brat.

  • Replace Harriet Jones and you get Harold Saxon...Great Move Doctor !!!

  • One word... just one... OWNED!

  • 6 words? the TARDIS?

  • Doctor... You're being a jerk.

  • I'm sorry, but I agree with Harriet here, the leader tried to kill The Doctor after swearing he'd leave, they weren't trustworthy.

  • From Battlestar Galactica, "No Exit" -

[President Laura Roslin: You are the right one, Lee. You have always been the right one. My only concern about you is that you're so hellbent on doing the *right* thing that you sometimes don't do the *smart* thing.

Lee Adama: Well, I'll try to be smarter, and wronger.]

Poor PM Harriet Jones had the worst thing happen to her. The means of defense presented to her an hour too late and with seconds to decide what to do. Defense became murder. Right? Smart?

  • And cowardly, she basically shot them in the back, as they were leaving. If they weren't leaving then it would've been acceptable to shoot at them.

  • @BreeLa19 Harriet grasps that earth isn't in in a position to fight fair - so she doesn't.

Harriet Jones and Joan Redfern and villains Davros and Blon Fel-Fotch Pasameer-Day Slitheen offer legitimate critiques of The Doctor's heroic wanderings. For example, his high ideals were costly to an innocent in "the Unquiet Dead."

There is this ongoing contest between the Doctor's "better way of living" and life as it is in the "Whoinverse." Many casualties were racked up in this contest.

  • Yeah, with those 6 little words he can bring down her reign, but look who she gets replaced by in the end. Mr. Saxon.

  • Hindsight is 20/20

  • @Dracoa79

Yeah, the Doctor should have used this on the Master, just walk up to one of his aides and whisper, "Don't you think he looks gay?"

  • Shooting down the aliens was so stupid... word about Earth was getting out anyway, if the aliens had left and spread the word that Earth "IS DEFENDED," maybe less aliens would try to invade. D:

  • what does he mean by 6 words??????

  • Comment removed

  • He says, "Don't you think she looks tired?"

  • Yeah, It's one thing for a male leader to look tired, but for a woman it's completely different.

  • "Do you think she looks tired?"

  • Torchwood=FAIL...

    but

    Torchwood+10 seconds=WIN

  • what does tired mean

  • what does the doctor mean by tired

  • by the doctor saying that Harriet Jones is tired he means that she is losing sleep and that causes her to make rash and dangerous judgements that could have very well got everyone killed

  • i don't get it when the dr says "din't you think she looks tired?" could some one explain that to me please?

  • Looks tired of being prime minister, not enough sleep equaling in rash judgement, things like that.

  • ooooook. thanks! (Y) :)

  • The Prime Minister, by killing the aliens, was doing her job as she saw it. She was the elected official and the Doctor was not. The Doctor was wrong to destroy the Prime Minister's government and lose the golden age for Britain that he said the Prime Minister would bring, just because he disagreed with her. True he saved the Earth but no one elected him to make decisions for Earth either.

  • Would you want a golden age built on the genecide of a threat? Harriet Jones was no more just than Hitler.

Also, stopping the spread of the news of Earth stops its growth.

  • I wonder what those 6 words are

  • They were "Don't you think she looks tired?"

  • Thanks

  • Damn you, Harriet Jones, I used to like you! And you go and do that!

The Doctor is truly a force to be reconed with. She just made a huge mistake crossing the doctor....

  • but she redeems herself at the end! I love her in the stolen planet, she's so great!

  • don't you think she looks tired?

the Doctor never ceases to amaze me. Harriet brought down with just that insignificant sentance.

  • im sorry but that was a low blow thrown at the retreating enemy...then she has nerve to call the doctor an 'alien threat'! my hackles went up and i growled at her...
