Don't go by what you see on TV. The best seats are on-camera, those that belong to the spoiled who get tix from vendor reps or whatever. The "leave early beat traffic" crowd. Plus those people, too pacify their wives, leave the seats and retreat to the Olympia Club for adrink. The real fans are in the cheap sats. I see the empty seats, but see people with SRO bracelets. I went to a Pistons game, packed, with a ring of empty seats in front of the suites, but they're up a few rows, OFF-CAMERA.
