The majority of the cruelty in rodeo which we focus on is against the bucking and roping stock, animals that are basically 'expendable'.

Although SHARK shines light on the very few negative aspects of rodeo, there is an even larger amount of positive things about rodeo. i have been attending and competing in rodeos all my life and would know first hand. just because you may attend one rodeo in your life time to whitness one thing go wrong does not mean that you people should protest an entire lifestyle. people spend tons of money on the welfare and care of their valuable livestock and would never intentionally abuse their animals

Ronald McDonald House, We are the World, and hundreds of millions in relief for victims of earthquakes, and other natural disasters. How can you say rodeos are not cruel when you've just watched the video? I have principles, and I will continue to drink the products. There is nothing wrong with it. I dont believe in the cruel... but growing up around a rodeo atmosphere, living on a farm, with market pigs, sheep, and barrel and show horses I dont think that rodeos are bad. Also in your other videos you have call rodeo people "thugs." I have best friends who rodeo, and they are just about the nicest people you will ever meet. They would never do it if it meant hurting an animal.
Another great vid, SHARK. This is a great demonstration of how easy it is to make a simple phone call to a big company like Coke, in case some peopel are put off by the size of the company, confrontation, etc.
I've called Coke and gotten the exact same company line you did here. They claim that since the rodeos themselves claim to run a cruelty-free event, it must be ok. The customer rep also always seems surprised to hear about it at all.
I have a long list of corporations and their brands that I have largely avoided since I first started watching SHARKS videos. I've made mistakes and have stayed at Marriott but I do not drink Coke or its products! Plus, its just not healthy for you. Just one quick question for SHARK and that is, why is Dodge attacked and not Ford? Don't they have the Ford Built Tough Series or something? And yes, Ford is equally guilty, but as we've been focusing for the most part on full-event rodeo, and not the bull riding exclusive PBR, Ford has been getting away lightly. However, that you and our other supporters realize this helps greatly and shows your concern for the animals.. There are also a lot of local/regional sponsors that should think twice about supporting cruel rodeos, as well.

@srikingdiva92 We have not witnessed any cruelty, but we do have barrel racers among our supporters who claim some of their colleagues are 'overzealous' and use more whip than they probably should and are rough with the bit when their horse doesn't perform well.
The majority of the cruelty in rodeo which we focus on is against the bucking and roping stock, animals that are basically 'expendable'.

Although SHARK shines light on the very few negative aspects of rodeo, there is an even larger amount of positive things about rodeo. i have been attending and competing in rodeos all my life and would know first hand. just because you may attend one rodeo in your life time to whitness one thing go wrong does not mean that you people should protest an entire lifestyle. people spend tons of money on the welfare and care of their valuable livestock and would never intentionally abuse their animals

Ronald McDonald House, We are the World, and hundreds of millions in relief for victims of earthquakes, and other natural disasters. Another great vid, SHARK. This is a great demonstration of how easy it is to make a simple phone call to a big company like Coke, in case some peopel are put off by the size of the company, confrontation, etc.
I've called Coke and gotten the exact same company line you did here. They claim that since the rodeos themselves claim to run a cruelty-free event, it must be ok. The customer rep also always seems surprised to hear about it at all.

I have a long list of corporations and their brands that I have largely avoided since I first started watching SHARKS videos. I've made mistakes and have stayed at Marriott but I do not drink Coke or its products! Plus, its just not healthy for you.
