Agreed the cartoons of today are about being PC and selling you something. The only decent cartoon series I saw in the past few years is the Airbender, and those Starship Roughneck Chronicles.
hmm seems to me,that the old cartoons are better drawn then alot of the new ones nowadays. plus the cartoons today are stupid and make no sense at all. i miss the old cartoons
true,but with a few exceptions,the 2003 Ninja turtles was pretty good and so was W.I.T.C.H in my honest opinion. but other than that,most of the newer cartoons like spongebob or phil and pherb are crap
wow! i was so young when i saw any of this. didnt understand a thing. just thought the animation and what not was kickass! now that i am revisiting this, there is so much structure compared to today. no kid is going to get anything good out of the cartoons nowadays

And as far as writing go's, sure the stories were a little corny but they were solid, with a beginning, middle, and end. not like now where stories are just random..
sweet..! i think the 80`s catoons was much cooler then the crap today!!! today its only hectic chaos and dumpnes, am i right?? u learn plenty of moral out of he-man, m.a.s.k, brave star, starcom, g.i. joe and so on..
I was back home visiting my family not too long ago, and we managed to find the starcom tapes while going through the old video tapes in storage. I dunno about you but I still have them. Granted they are a bit...old now.

Definitely! even though i was not born in the USA (but in Europe) i grew up watching these cartoons - they were much more better
