Hello, I have a Preon 2 pen light but my only gripe (major tho) is that the clicky in the back keeps accidentally getting pressed and the light turns on when I don't want it to. Of course, when I actually need it, the batts are all drained by then.
How is the clicky on the Brite Strike? Is it stiff enough to not accidentally turn on?
@GadgetStalker The Brite Strike is superior to the the Preon. I took a chance and spent the extra money for a Brite Strike. First, it's brighter. Second, it's switch is tactical, in that it can be used momentarily and is a forward click switch. Also a rubber boot to keep dust and gunk out.
The Preon is a reverse switch, eliminating momentary use with out two clicks
I had no problem with my aluminum 2 cell versions switches, but my titanium 1 cell switch was very unreliable.
@GadgetStalker The company sent me a second Ti switch, and it had the same problem. I was wrong, they are both 160 lumens, but the Brite Strike has a better beam pattern, a tighter spot. You won't be disappointed with the extra money spent.
