haha, you have to answer and press one to answer the call. now that is a little cumbersome. when I pick up my head set from my phone I want to talk to the caller. It even confused the CEO, he answered Vincent's call and said hello without pressing 1 to answer... priceless.

I noticed that too. But that is just a learning curve you'll get over pretty fast, although humans are creatures of habit. The whole point is that you DON'T answer the call when you pick up, since it gives you a chance to screen the call first. The problem I see is that you need to give everyone you know this new Grand Central phone number, bummer it can't be tied to the number I already have.

I don't have Verizon or a PC, so I probably can't use iobi (plus I never even heard of it can't and easily find it on their site).

I like GC because it rings on all my phones simultaneously, consolidates voicemail into one place, and lets me switch between phones on an active call. It also lets you block calls from specific numbers (playing a "disconnected" message to them).

Demo adds a lot to understanding how this service works. I read the FAQs for their website, but helps to view the system in operation. One number, one person for life sounds intriguing.
