i think its bad if it was suv's ,jeeps 4x4s then would be more practical but mercs, sport coups etc that will get battered after a year on the roads i reckon its a total waste of money and not very practical , i guess they just need to broaden there tastes in cars

Has anybody wondered whats going to happen to the expensive mercs? My geuss is they will be ''auctioned'' ( In inverted comma's yes ) and suprise suprise they will be sold cheap and even more suprising will be that we will see them parked in the private driveways of ministers and their relatives. Who do they think they are fooling. I think in the long run it will be costing the taxpayer far more money.

In developed countries parliament/congress has to vote for a budget for approval. under the current law the budget is a prerogative of the excecutive. Kibaki vetoed a bill that would have required Mp's to vote and approve a budget. this is what we get without Accountability. eg MOI took govt. funds to build the Eldoret airport, kibaki paid all of Wamalwa's debt using state funds,the late MP's faimilies have their expenses paid thanks to this flawed law. what will stop a president from stealing?
