  • I've taken dumps that looked and sounded better...

  • This car is now in Thailand and is for sale

  • ...... chrome on a Z, really? *embarrassed*

  • @gattler those are volks they can be any color they want thats baller status

  • @R350zz33 well, i guess that can be an eception. volks are nice.. lol

  • I'm sorry, but if you need 4 nos tanks you just need a bigger motor!

  • @twiztidsidfreak13 the amount of tanks is really not important, its the pressure/flow that matters and maybe because he runs N2o so often he doesnt want to run out before he gets back to a filling point. Personally not a fan of N2o; kind of like steroids in body building; chemical performance

  • @lynel1985

Yeah I get what you mean. I have always said, if you need Nos GO HOME and get a BIGGER MOTOR! Sure it helps and all, but it kinda is the easy way out if you ask me! Real power comes from the motor and how hard it is pushing. I would rather run alcohol in my ride then use NOS! Now I guess with having a lot of boost in the car nos isn't that big a step or much of a cheat, but so many would rather just bolt on some NO2 than build a powerful motor!

  • The alpha rice haha so ugly

  • it was nice till i saw the sub those have no place in a high performance car if you ask me

  • bad ass

  • i bet that 350z moves down the road but who put that ugly hood scoop it made the car ugly they could did a better job on the hood

  • ricer fo sho

  • Whats with that whistle as it revs slightly? Must need some WD40 somewhere.

  • @SpikeRazzor wd40 i love

  • I don't see the purpose of having both turbo and supercharger. It's either one or the other. Both are efficient alone, just having both is more weight. To me, its just for looks.

  • @dreams2memories

Twin charging is one of the best set ups, if done correct for an all round car,

you can go a monster turbo, and a decent sized supercharger and it gives u the low down torqe and power from the sc, and because it is making more power down low/exhuast gas it comes on boost earlier, once on boost if set up right u can turn the sc off and have the turbo only flowing the charged air and very minimal top end power is lost, i have a friend with this set up o rb30

  • @dreams2memories They have had this system around for YEARS, Look some of the info up on it, it is not just for looks.

  • WOW sounds like a rusty back yard fence swinging in the breeze when they rev it up!! Terrible.

  • @jeffsmonte LOLLLL

  • looks StUpiD!

  • wow that blower looks terrible on there, functional or not, but I bet it hauls....

  • how come half the time that asians hook up their cars they over do it visually? look at the dash, whos really checking that shit?

  • Mad max uses a clutch blower on his car - haha

  • i like that sound. It's different

  • I'm sure it's fast. Mainly it seems the complexity compared 2 the results just make it seem gimmicky. The hood is funky.

  • looks so gay

  • when super n turbocharger combines,it creates a bad sound

  • but it also creates a very nice type of power, its very smooth

  • Actually, it's just the opposite as the peak power from the turbo is combined with the peak power from the S/C. It's a very unstable power curve and pretty useless.

  • @frambesbuckeye

I'm sure it is quite beneficial in large turbo setups. The supercharger adds a bit of low end and response when the turbo is off boost lifting the flat spot low in the rev range. The supercharger would also add a bit of load and contribute exhaust pressure to spool the turbo quicker and more effectively

  • Not really. I've seen dyno sheets for them. There is always a dual wave or two peaks on the dyno because you have low end pull, then a flat mid range band, and the top end pulls from the turbo. It's a ticky tack setup which is precisely why it isn't used by nearly anybody.

  • Very tricky to get right, and agreed it is more trouble than it's worth.

  • 0:33 how to hide the number plate? what software? :(

  • damn! 4 fuckin bottles of nitrous????

  • ikno right might as well have 6 for every cylinder

  • How much does a 2007 350z cost these days in the U.S.? I heard the 2007 model has a higher rev limit.

  • Twin-charging takes advantage of the instant, zero-lag response of the supercharger in low revs PLUS the non-parasitic, high eficiency of the turbo-charger in high revs... dissing this setup because of the noise it makes is like dissing a gold necklace because of its high conductivity... it's just completely missing the point...

  • pretty sure thats the best way you can put it

  • Yeah, it took me half an hour to write that LOL

  • I disagree. You get the supercharger kick in the lower RPM's, and the turbo kick in the higher RPM's, BUT you still have to deal with the supercharger's parasitic loss even while on the turbo's boost. Nonetheless, a monster of a car...

  • That's why you use an electromagnetic clutch at the input spindle of the supercharger, to disengage it when the turbo kicks in.

  • I have yet to see an electromagnetic clutch system utilized in a supercharger except in Mercedes's Kompressor cars... and it's hard to say that those are sports cars. Do you have a link, example, etc? I've been really curious about twincharging, but was turned off by the fact that you will have parasitic loss no matter what.

  • Hi! Yeah you're right, EM clutches are kindda complex, but there are other options, the Toyota MR2 from the late 80's had a clutched SC i'm pretty sure, and I believe Toyota Racing has aftermarket supercharger kits with a vacuum-actuated valve that disengages the supercharger given Xpsi in the intake manifold.

  • many volvo marine engines use clutch superchargers

  • more of a showcar/science experiment than a actual performance car now....

kinda cool, but not as a performance Z.........

  • that supercharger makes the worst fuckin whining noise in the world. that shit would get old quick.

  • i wouldn't care what my car sounded like if it were that fast..

  • its not as cool as the whine from my kenne bell but if u new what was actually making that noise then u would love it

  • Its prolly the companys demo cars Japan usualy produces insane 1 off tuned cars to show people things like twin-charging is not in the past anymore, im surprised that no one has twin supercharged a Z33 or and JDM USDM or EURO model, it can be done to a Corvette but yeat again a Viper 2, then again Ive seen twin turbo Vets and Vips that smoke shit in the quarter-mile.

  • The car is ugly as hell, but who cares? It's still fucking awsome!

  • What was the point of making this car? To test the clutch? Or was it an individual's car.

  • HOLY FUCK am I the only one who notices @ 0:27-0:28 seconds that their is 4 Nitrous tanks in the rear? INSANE.

  • lol i know wtF!

  • holy cow billy bob...look at that hood scoop!!!LOL good concept but poorly executed

That Subaru styling hood scoop must go!!!

Wow do any of you do your homework? Lets see a top mounted supercharger near the top of the hood clearence issues ok then lets cut some space in the hood so it can go back down like it should be....OHH YEAH I FORGOT BRO WITH A HUGE AIR-INTAKE LIKE THAT MORE COLD AIR LESS OVERHEAT FOR THE TWIN-CHARGE SYSTEM. OMG!

  • twin charged is the best way to go because you'll have constant power at all rpms. the supercharger can be use for the low end and the turbo can take over for the top end. better than useing twin turbos just for top end.

  • but you can use seqential turbos. Smaller one gets you off the line, then the bigger one kicks in afterwards.

  • Not digging the hood, Kinda questioning the supercharger. That whistling is not music to my ears. I still like the car in General though.

  • i enjoy the posts about people preferring turbos over superchargers.

you DO realize twin charged means supercharged AND turbocharged, right?

    community fail!

  • That Subaru styling hood scoop must go!!!

  • then the supercharger would just be jutting out of the hood

the scoop is trying to make it aerodynamic i guess lol

  • its not subaru styleing but i hate the hod on there to but they back to do that for the super charger but if i was them i would have ley the super charger hang out if you get what im saying

  • holy cow billy bob...look at that hood scoop!!!LOL good concept but poorly executed

  • that has to be the ugliest 350z i've ever seen..

  • thas got to be the ugliest supercharger ive ever seen, but its one badass car, i love the 350z

  • dam, who would be crazy enough to race him? can u imagine how many horses he gets? just hope it doesn't all blow up on race day.

  • very nice but the supercharger sounds like nails on a chalkboard lol

  • nothing better then the whine of a supercharger

  • hell yeah

  • on a muscle car is sounds good on this car, it sounds annoying. i have a 350z and i wouldn't put a supercharger on it, turbo has better gains, and sounds better

  • true

  • man fuck that thaats fuckin amazing

  • I much prefer the hiss or a Turbo over the whien of a supercharger!

  • wtf?

supercharger, turbo AND nitrous? someone is CRAZY!

  • Ugly friggin monster

  • ugly....but a monster...

  • haha Horno, i'd like to see this EVO of yours... Preferably a decent quality video.

  • dont worry bout him, im stock and i eat evos for snax, not to mention its always fun to harass those things on the road

  • we want mooooooooooooore!
