@jays05 im glad to hear that you will have your car up and running again. i love watching your videos it really makes me miss my subie. i had on 06 tr converted to sti including the trans. i was running a similar set up but gt30 and was running meth. needless to say i got tboned and the car was screwed. im building a 92 sc300 with 2jzgte swap and single pt7181. to be completely honest i loved the subru more. keep posting vids and ill keep watching. word to the wise on 77 watch out for UGR
that stg 3 s4 actually held its own pretty well considering that its tough to make over 450whp with the ko4 turbos. nice run. sti was stOOpid fast as usual :)

450-500 is plenty easy with 93oct. yimis dyno reads HIGH. very very high. my car made 437whp +/- 2 hp on 3 seperate mustang dynos. on yimis i showed 482whp. tune was untouched.
put up or shut up. idont see any vids of your FAST car so eat it.
Regardless if it's "the real deal" you can't make 500whp safely on pump gas with our cars. There is waayy too much possibility for detonation! At least buy yourself a 5gal barrel everyonce in a while of c16 and splash a little in the tank to help out.

This car ran back to back 11.0's on straight 93oct pump and trapped 102.x in the eighth mile. Never got a clean run either. And there are plenty of STI's going quicker and faster on pump. Overboostin went 10.7 @ 130 on 93oct fuel, but he has the longer 07+ gears... I should catch up to him once we upgrade the gearbox.

@Rizo08STi In these videos it was just a plain old built 2.5L with cosworth s2 cams, supertech valvetrain, and ported STI heads. The big power adders, compared to most builds, are the custom FMIC and custom header/uppipe setup. The motor in this video dropped a valve, and the replacement motor dropped a valve too. Stupid cosworth cams...
im surprised the s4 held up as long as it did. the s4 probably has 500awhp at the most while this subi has 543awhp and is much lighter. the s4 is just a heavier car and with ko4s that run out of steam up top while the subis single turbo should keep pulling strong. ive seen your videos jay and your car is sick for sure, i would love to do some pulls with you after i break in my motor in my s4. nice run man and keep the vids coming.
Definitely impressive numbers from the Subaru on pure 93...IMO you rarely see FAST WRX's on the street, especially from a roll on situation (they usually have NO trap speed, big turbo ones making 500+ barely trapping 120 mph), but this Subie is moving especially on pure pump
Nice race. STi won by about a car, right? That S4 should have been much further ahead, maybe he had issues that he's not aware of. He should have spanked you up top, in addition to the instaboost at the start.
For you people saying the S4 cannot be brake boosted you are completely wrong. In stock form you are correct, however my APR stage 3 kit allows brake boosting in both the 93 map and 104 map.
Dude is a fully built dammed sit running a big turbo vs a bone stock engine S4 with oem upgraded turbos and a OTS tune. I'd like to see him comparably modded S4. he'd get walked. Oh and the sti has shitty ass gearing
Guys lets remember the STI is a rally car and they are getting enough power to drag race which is not even what the sti is built for, lets do something besides straight and see the S4 be able to keep up at all.
@spookdaghost - I know the weight of my car is ~3700lbs. An sti weighs a decent amount less in stock form but jays is gutted and lots of weight reduction mods. I want to say he mentioned weighing in just around 3000lbs.
That S4 is not putting over 600whp maybe crank but not whp. Most stage 3 S4 put down about 420-470 whp with supporting mods. If the S4 owner was running the RS6 turbo's then the race would have definetly been different. To the owner of the S4 who thinks his car weighs 800 more pounds then the sti I'm sorry my friend you don't know your car's weight. the S4 weighs maybe 200 pounds more unless you had a fully loaded car. Most races with the sti and an S4 having the same hp the S4 normally wins.
Backhere2- I was in the s4 it was on the bottle and the sti came up on us probably die to low bottle pressure up top. Quit being so ignorant. You don't know anything about either car

I am the owner of the S4 and you sir are just plain ignorant. I have and off the shelf APR kit and a 75 zex wet system on my car. Which would put me somewhere around maybe 575-600 crank hp, which is more like 500awhp vs Jays 543awhp car. And on top of that, the STi weighs in about 800 or so lbs less then the S4.
I also had a full catback which could have been removed and might have helped slightly.

You can infact brake boost an S4 or at least my APR software unlocks it however I would def not want to brake boost with a nitrous switch under the petal. K04's just spool stupid fast and the 75shot just makes them spool that much faster.
It's the APR stage 3 turbo kit (K04 turbos) and a 75-shot, and I think that's it. The car looks stock besides the nitrous. He was running the 104oct map on sunoco 112.
This makes me miss my 05 a little, got a C5 Z06 now though. ;)

APR may be the most concervative but mine runs VERY well. I may run a low 11 havn't sprayed at the track yet this year with a new clutch and tranny.
