@NeoGeofanatic Hey man, I do appreciate your comment but I really wanted to learn the blues vibrato. Always found it difficult... not so much a normal bend but adding vibrato on top of the full tone bend. I am now getting the hang of it though. I am a sloooowwww learner. :)
I love your videos and your technical abilities, with great skills and speed, you make it look so easy! I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to some more inspiring material. Do you have formal training?
Dude! I have the same exact guitar! Nice job on the song. Sounds awesome. I'm currently learning Europa, but it's a bit hard since I'm still a beginner.
I see you and Naudo found eachother. You're my two favorites on here. You, because you sound just like Santana, and Naudo because he makes some beautiful arrangements-- even with songs I don't like. I'm still plugging away 7 months now, and I haven't smashed my guitar yet, despite watching the two of you and being utterly frustrated:) Practice, practice, practice! And with that, off to practice!
I think you will find that many people would disagree about me sounding like Mr. Santana.
I try to get as close as I can on getting some similarity but to my ears there is a big difference still on this. But, many times it sounds alot better through the headphones or before uploading the vids. :)
dude where do you get the back track im looking for them and i dont found anything sorry for my bad english but im spanish well can you tell me where you get the back tracj or soundtrack of this song i just want that because i can play very well this song but i don have the sound track of drums and bass that sound too you understand me pleeeease tell me where can i get it pleaaaaaaaase of give youre email to tell me
That is a goddamn SE? I'm ready to trade my Ibanez in NOW, thank you. Seriously though, that is not going to help me... how do you get such a long sustain? I'm working on Europa because BMW was just way too hard for my skill level, and I can't sustain enough to do it this right.
You have a very nice sound here Franco and playing pretty good you're determined to get it right man, points of working on: Alternate picking(using up-down strokes) especially when more speed is required and the Blues vibrato(thumb as anchorpoint and using wrist movement up-down)we discussed this earlier.(Carlos uses Blues vibrato a lot) Your sound and motivation is top notch, greets Victor.
This is what I want/need, somebody to mentor me. I really appreciate your input. I don't know what style I like or play, infact, I know nothing about music, musicians and/or techniques. I just try to copy some artists. All I play is from inside me, trying to express myself with the knowledge I currently have.
You're saying it right my friend, from the Inside-Out ,with the knowledge you have, you're the owner of a soul that wants to express itself, this is a beautifull path, just stay on it that's all you need to do,gr Vic.
Thanks a lot for the feedback. Been playing for 7 years. I play an EVH peavey Wolfgang custom shop. As for down-picking and up-picking, most every note you play should be alternated...for instance if you play the first note of this song with a downstroke, the next note should be played with an up. It's called "alternate picking" and makes your playing a lot smoother. It's an awkward thing to learn at first, but gets easy real quick. Take it easy.
Not bad. The chorus needs to be smoothed over... you didn't miss a note, but you pick down a lot. Try one upstroke, and that would make a lot of difference. All in all, though, one of the better Europa covers on here. Check mine out if you get a minute I'd like to get feedback. Nice guitar too.
Ive been studying the SRV style for a while now, and starting to get into the Santana style, hopefully to combine them in some awsome way (that would be sweet wouldn't it). I have the same exact amp that you used in that performance but am curious what setting did you have it on. I really like that sound. and Im sure I can get a reletave sound with my peavy guitar too right?
Hi nueve26k. Thanks for the constructive criticism. I am aware of that also. one day I will get it right. :) Hope to see some of your playing one day.
beautiful, i love this song, i have a killer live version, not sure where its from, but its intense, very well played, just some constructive crit, the vibrato tended to be a little annoying and took away from the song, maybe work on smoothing it out a little bit, other than that, BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks for the comment. I am very green on all aspect of playing as I never had anybody to teach me (I just listen an play). I take your constructive criticism on board but I feel the need to put the vibrato on, it is the way I play. But its nice to hear people's opinion; that's the way to develop better. :)
The sound has been picked up by the video camera's own mike, hence why is a bit boomy but to me it sounds better if it is recorded from the computer directly to mp3(like "black magic woman". :)
Thanks Carphunter1970. The Custom 22 is a great guitar especially on the hands of a professional guitarist. I would love to have a Custom 24 with the artist pack (one day.. ...maybe) :>)
I agree it's unusual, I searched on the net to see pictures of this model but I remember seeing only one that looked the same (...maby I got a very rare one, he he, I CAN ONLY WISH!) :)
Thanks for replying to me from your comments and for trying to correct your mistaken rating on this piece. but I don't think that has worked. But I feel good to know you meant better. Thanks!

roofermike2007 3 years ago
I used high gain and overdrive.
I also found that you will get improoved sustain by twiking the tone control with a little more bass. Add some delay also. :)
