@longhorn5288 Ha. Ha. Ha. Haven't heard that before. You know what I have heard? Colt McCoy's wife: “I know Colt was approached quite a bit [by agents] but I saw so many of his teammates who didn’t have some of that self control to say no to somebody..." People in glass houses should not throw stones.
Thank you for not hitting the reply button moron, Saw the video in my recommended and checked.
Nowhere, I mean NOWHERE, has USC rated the #1 Collegiate marching band except for USC fan sites.
It ranks in the Top 5 on most other sites but #1 is always going to Either Ohio State, or Ohio University, Ohio State being on more.
Nothing compares to the Dotting of the i. It sounds good, looks amazing, and is recognized as the greatest traditional performance by any marching band in the country. Thanks
1) the video follows the NBA commercial style...which it slow.
2) "the greatest marching band in the history of the universe" is something our band director says. (I happen to agree that tOSU's band is the best in the country) This video was made for USC fans, most of whom would know what the reference is.
as for the rest of your post, don't talk about pride and tradition to USC. There are few schools out there with more pride or tradition than USC. 7 heismans, 11 national championships, hundreds of all-americans. There is a reason the best athletes in the world choose to come be a part of the Trojan Family
USC fans are obnoxious, big headed, overconfident, loud mouthed brainless douche bags.
USC only has about 149 or so All-Americans, Ohio State and Notre dame both have 178.
Uh, and I'm sure your monopoly on California recruiting ranked the #2 state for recruiting in the country, not to mention your geographical Location, as one of the most populous, famous, areas in the country (I mean, Hollywood, Beaches, Great weather) also have nothing to do with it, right?
interesting because you seem to fit into the "obnoxious, big headed, overconfident, loud mouthed brainless douche bag" category yourself.
lovely, tOSU and ND have more all americans, try heismans, national championships, nfl hall of famers
there is a reason most experts have usc in the top 5 all time
and what the hell are you getting at? YES, california is great! but there's a reason USC gets all the recruits while UCLA, Cal, and Stanford get the leftovers.
UCLA, Cal, Stanford, name one thing worth talking about that they've done in the past 10 years. Thanks.
Both Ohio State and Notre Dame also have 7 Heismans, Notre Dame has 13 National Championships, and for a team with "Only" 7 titles, we're higher on most polls for the best team of all time than USC, lol.
Tradition - ;noun;
The handing down of statements, beliefs, legends, customs, information, etc., from generation to generation, esp. by word of mouth or by practice.
I acknowledge USC as a good team, I don't like their standing, However, based on location, where everybody ends up dreaming to go to at some point in their lives.
As a program, they are dirty, they have to make some sort of excuse every time they lose a game, can't stand to lose, no matter what, no matter when, or who its against.
so we are supposed to be HAPPY about losing??? we are supposed to be content with losing??? sorry that sounds too much like Notre Dame for me.
and we don't deserve our standing because we are located in Southern California...
wow, you are an idiot
and you want to know how tOSU and ND and Alabama, etc got their prestige: longterm SUCCESS. USC has that, give up your childish arguments and accept it
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
USC's success is on a basis of their location. I Guarantee you move USC and rename it university of south Carolina it wouldn't have the same overall success. Not even close, give it a few years and their Monopoly on California's recruits will plummet, more than half of your roster is from California and every year you get its best recruits.
I'm not talking about you being happy about losing, I'm talking about you whining about it as if the other team cheated and you were all five year olds.
wow, I said it before but I'll say it again: YOU ARE AN IDIOT.
I only need one example to explain to you how amazingly stupid your argument is:
Paul Hackett
Despite still residing in southern California USC was miserably bad during his tenure as head coach.
The likes of Pete Carroll, John McKay, John Robinson and Howard Jones are why USC is successful. Mike Garrett, Sam "Bam" Cunningham, Charles White, Marcus Allen, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, and Reggie Bush are why USC is great.
It's called a PIPELINE you idiot! where do you think the majority of Florida's players come from? FLORIDA. How about Texas? they come from TEXAS.
UCLA is in socal and they suck.
As for Reggie Bush, his NFL career (which is by no means a "bust" to begin with) doesn't wipe out everything he did in college. There is a reason he won the Heisman (Darren McFadden did not BTW)
You know what? I'm done arguing with you. You clearly have no capacity for an intelligent discussion about this. So I'm done.
Top five recruits that came out of California this year went to USC.
They have a huge monopoly on their state because their the only good school in their state.
Florida shares with FSU and Miami they do not have a monopoly on their recruits.
Reggie bush is a bust, people expected him to be like bo jackson or barry sanders, turns out, he's not even close, when you expect a certain level of skill from somebody and they don't live up to it, bust.
@rickuadra23 That's right! University of South Central. USC students are not isolated in a ritchie westwood bubble. They know what's up! USC is where wonderful community service happens as well.
Mario Danelo, USC kicker, fell off a cliff and died the night after we won the 2007 Rose Bowl.
In a tribute to him, after the first touchdown of the season USC sent the kicking unit out for the extra point without a kicker (i.e. a missing man formation). We took the delay of game penalty and then the new kicker kicked the extra point.

Reggie bush and oj mayo both were said to have received illegal money and gifts and joe mcknight indicated that bush called him even though its illegal for former players to call the recruit or their family. but i guess trojans are used to getting away with crimes, such as double murder.
I could say that the sky is green but that doesn't make it fact. Sorry, but the NCAA has yet to conclude that any violations were knowingly or unknowingly made by Reggie Bush, OJ Mayo, or most importantly USC. And if you really want to get into this, the Bush and Mayo cases have nothing to do with recruiting. If they received benefits it was from sources outside of the university.
both cases were about "supposed" benefits they received while enrolled at USC. None of the allegations (or the NCAA investigations) suggest that the university illegally recruited them, its all about what they may or may not have received while in school.
not bad actually, considering UCLA was down to their third string qb. besides, usc is stacked with all-americans and gets like the best recruits in the nation every year but still can't get to the title game. i mean sc couldn't beat texas with TWO heisman trophy winners in the backfield.

What a joke dude, in top 25 university bands USC doesn't even come close to hitting the top 25.
OSU of course is #1 in style, pride, and skill.
The video is slow, it lulls on, and USC's fans aren't dedicated enough to care about it.
The only people who think this school deserves a video like this is only the team's fans, nobody else.
Only schools with pride and tradition and who actually care about their school deserve a video like this.
USC is NOT once of these schools.

Yeah, cuz all the top recruits are intellectually incapable and would stand no chance of getting admitted to UCLA, Cal or Stanford. Good point.

Reggie bush? Talk about the bust of the century.
He isn't great at all dude, bad person to bring up.
He's no better than Darren McFadden, which played in a much tougher conference.
Every player you just mentioned excluding the coaches = From California.
See a trend here?
Move USC to another state and their monopoly ends.
