  • I wish he could speak about zionist! the real threat for us all

  • what bill trying to say that these fundamentalist christians are not real and changing the Truth of religion. He said it in sarcasm way , i dont know why many dont understand it. There is no such label in religions. but many people are being fundamentalist or extreme but using religion as an EXCUSE. its all just a BIG CONSPIRACY to wipe all religions by making it look as fault. For example, when he talks about all those destructive weapons caused by these fundamentalist people.n wearing cross.

  • And all scotland did praze the lord, thank you lord.....

that sketch coudn't be more genious!

  • theyr fuckin with me dad

  • I've got a one word question for you...Dinosaur?

  • "You are free, to do as we tell you"

    So true...

  • Bill Hicks is a genius.

Heroes get remembered, legends never die.

  • its a joke!

  • I do greatly disagree with Bill's views on Religion, but he is quite funny and I do admire his views and the way he sticks to them.

  • @zombiekicker lmfao...I take it u know about that joke stealing bastard too

  • Hey buddy, I'm a Christian and I don't appreciate what you said.

  • @okay818 I lold at this comment

  • @okay818 Hicks actually incorporated something like that into one of his later sets. 3 big men came up to him and said "Hey, we're Christians and we don't appreciate what you said." His response? "Then forgive me!"

  • @DaveTerenas Yeh, that's what I was referring to.

  • Man...this guy was really ahead of his time! This kinda stuff is kinda expected out of half-way intelligent people NOW, (since Keith Olbermann made it ok to be Liberal) but in 1993? I can see why people'd call him controversial back then.

Man, if only he hadn't kicked it. The world could use a "Texan Bill Maher!" lol!

  • @macgeek2004

They called him a "Satanist" and said he was spewing "vile blasphemies". Kinda what they said about Carlin [except his centered around drugs] and Kinnison ,.....

  • Bill would of loved Sarah Palin's retarded ass.

  • @doesyourgodcomeinaca Actually, her ass isn't bad for a middle-aged monkey... The problem is her empty fucking head and the regurgitated drivel it amplifies.

  • @999umopapisdn I would stick fingers in it also.

  • @999umopapisdn Middle aged? Bloody hell, she looks like (and is) a grandma.

  • Go back to bed America.

    Here's American Idol, watch this.

    Shut up.

  • @CoQ10z Replace with any reality tv show (Jersey shore).

  • @AQGOAT24

american idol is a reality tv show

  • ‎You know, I'm tired of this false, fucking sanctimonious morality about LIFE. Ain't life keen! Ha Ha, let's pat ourselves on the back! Fuck you! If they wanna kill each other, I'm filming it.

  • Don't a fucking idiot. It's 6,000 years geeze...

  • GO BACK TO BED AMERICA

  • I can't say I agree with Hicks on his Kennedy assassination theories. Luis Alvarez conducted an experiment explaining how Kennedy's head would've jerked toward the bullet. You can go to the Wikipedia page on Luis Walter Alvarez and read the last paragraph under "Life and Career" or watch a Penn and Teller episode on the topic at "/watch?v=45qUL681lmM" (the experiment starts at around 6:55).

  • @AraGuitar Ok that also explains the murders of all the witnesses that seen what actually happen. Go back to bed America, go back to bed.

  • @trainofaaron No, see, it doesn't. It just explains the head jerking phenomenon, which is just simple physics.

  • "did you believe in dinosaurs?"

"well yeah there a fossils everywhere-- AHHHHHHH... it seemed so plausible!"

  • And yea, the dinosaur shall lie with the lamb.

  • @zombiekicker : That's all? Meh, Hicks pretty much glossed over Fix, Leary made an ironic joke about him dying and being found by a couple of chain smokers. It's probably just overzealous fan boys of both comedians getting their panties in a twist then.

  • @zombiekicker : Ok somebody explain this whole "denis stole from Hicks" bullshit, because I'm not seeing it. I've watch both Leary's shit and Hicks shit back to back and see no similarity other than they both smoke. Hicks is an observational, smart ass, Leary is a hyperactive cornball. Both funny in their own right. EXPLAIN IT TO ME :P

  • What I wouldn't give to spend just 5 minutes with my life hero, Bill Hicks.

Thank you Bill. You woke me up & made me laugh when I needed to at the same time. Rest in Peace, brave prophet.

  • The one person that "Disliked" this video must Try to fly by taking off from a roof instead of taking off from the ground......

  • Whoever that one person who disliked this video is, needs to be hunted down and psyically ejected from the earth!

  • @gropengroper Bill wouldn't of wanted that my friend.

  • lot of LOVE from Moldova...i ain`t fucking brain-washed

  • IF ONLY ONCE ONE OF THESE ''DISLIKE'' IDIOTS WOULD STAND UP AN FUCKIN' EXPLAIN THEMSELVES ! ! ! !

  • @SDJrekoff thats called trolling.. most likely that one person was a person of religious faith

  • @joshp6585 i was just pissed to me limits man..... if you ain`t pissed off by that shit, way to go, i just can`t get over that kinda shit, sorry.....

  • @SDJrekoff that makes since.. apparently they have band taste when it comes to comedy. thats not probably the only area they have bad taste in. they are probably pussy whipped by a woman who fucks around behind his back with his pastor.

  • @SDJrekoff that makes since.. apparently they have badd taste when it comes to comedy. thats not probably the only area they have bad taste in. they are probably pussy whipped by a woman who fucks around behind his back with his pastor.

  • 8:28 .... did bill hicks just give the inspiration for mad world on the wii :D

  • Mills . Seem like you and I are in the know. Well, maybe En1 knows. Hi sheep.

  • 8:15.....LMAO...Leave it to Bill to have a great retard walk for the sheeple.

  • Flying Lizards? Your an idoit!

  • And oh Jesus and the disciples walked in Nazareth but the trail was blocked by a giant brontosaurus with a splinter in his paw.

And oh the disciples did run and shriek "what a big fuckin' lizard Lord!" But Jesus was unafraid and he took the splinter from the brontosaurus' paw and the big lizard became his friend. And Jesus sent him to Scotland where he lived in a loch for oh so many years... Inviting thousands of American tourists to bring their fat fucking families and their fat dollar bills...

  • hahaha "god was fuckin' with you!"

  • 0 dislikes!!!! thats means no douche bags...i mean Christians.... have watched this yet!!

  • @zombiekicker

I've never found him funny enough to bother, TBH. He's a derivative act, incapable of constructing truly original stories/material.

  • and o the disciples did run a shreikin "what a big fuckin lizard!"

  • @chatsworthsharp420 haha are u serious? nice try man, but u just sound fucking dumb

  • whatever about denis leary. sure he stole from bill and wasnt as good or funny or witty as bill, nut no cure for cancer is still a mile above 95% of all other limp dicked half assed attempts from sorry excuses for comics. exceptions like louis ck and doug stanhope stand of course

  • I love the little laughs he gives after the audience doesn't laugh at a part of his skit. You swear he is thinking, "Yeah, exactly, just a bunch of fucking idiots that don't get it." I love this guy.

  • @CRAZYASS4EVER i dunno he seemed pretty happy do this

as the audience really did get it

  • Yeah sod the theology debate and Leary debate. It's bloody funny go back to the pub for proper debate.

  • @zombiekicker I think Leary was first, late 70's i believe.

  • @zombiekicker " fuck dennis leary" ? without him bill hicks would not have anyone to steal material from........

  • He makes perfect sense about everything

  • He truely was an adult in a kids world. Sadly we are more childish now than we were back then. RIP Bill your a legend.

  • be careful ruling out what some of our ancestors warned about just because they believed in spirits. back then, people weren't crazy, they were possessed. but that doesnt mean the actions committed by the crazy (possessed) person never happened. read between the lines and remember the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

  • Lots of American politic jokes for a London show.

  • @goo157 It was for a HBO special i believe so i'm guessing was intended for an American audience really, even though it was filmed in London. We get most American jokes anyway even back then we still heard about most of the major things going on.

  • "What a big fuckin lizard, Lord!"

  • "It seemed so plausible, argh!" That line always gets me!

  • lol this is getting good

  • ..."They wanna kill each other, I'm filming it..."

  • A Great Comic and philosopher....ever notice when people make waves against our corrupt Government they develope "cancer" (a virus)....God help and protect us from our own Government...

  • science brings religion down to earth and applies it to the affairs of men.

They are actually ONE! Let's celebrate all the similarities of religion, science, philosophy, theories, etc.. All roads lead to the same point!

    LOL - Mrs D

  • Hicks has lot of awesome ideas and thoughts but his presentation is lacking quite bit. In a way trying to be overly funny and overdoing it a lot.. bit like Denis Leary does, just not as badly. Enjoyed it plenty though, shame its bedtime would like to watch more, maybe tomorrow.

  • wow, sounds like he played a rough crowd that night

  • DINOSAUR?

  • DINOSAUR

  • "Ahhhhhhh!!! It seemed so plausible!"

  • Bill goes to hell...

Bill: Do you believe in dinossaurs man?

Satan: Hell yeah, thats why i am here.

  • Christ's Bogus Adventure LMAO

  • I THINK WHAT GOD MEANT TO SAY

  • Yeah! The only way humans could possibly work together is.. destroying humans.

    I think we're missing something.

  • Yeah, we'll start with you

  • everyone read gixxr6FLY's comment.

  • Communism... And Nazism, nothing new here.

  • @gixxr6FLY

    AMEN!!!

  • @gixxr6FLY you realize killing relegious followers would be the exact opposite of humans working together right? thats backwards logic. killing people never helped anything

  • @xTEETsx it helped make a lot of room for white Europeans and spaniards...colonial bastards....

  • @xTEETSx not taking sides but with all the fanatics gone theres no one left but... well... sane people, then we can get start getting along. Smaller population, easier to unite!

  • @xTEETSx It would be backwards, but we'd have less religious nuts :)

  • @xTEETSx It was fairly amusing?

  • @xTEETSx Haha! Yeah let them kill each other! That's what they usually do. LOL! I

  • @xTEETSx almost true. Hitler dying was prob for the best...

  • @vampateer21 Ya think?? O.o

  • @xTEETSx Oh buuuulllshit, killing people has helped loads of things since the dawn of man. I'm sure the Jewish community would find the death of Hitler to be a great help.

  • @xTEETSx You would be surprised.

  • @gixxr6FLY 'destroyed'? What?

  • LMFAO!!!!!

  • Bill was actually quite a spiritual person.

  • Comment removed

  • I love how instead of reading what I have to say hardline atheists just click the thumbs down and say shit about George Carlin (and then deleting what they said) who I fucking love.

Read about shit instead of just sticking to your DOGMA and that's what it is fucking BLIND DOGMA.

And for the record, I am not a christian, hindu, buddist, or any other religion, I seek truth, unlike the atheist who will disregard truth if it doesn't fit their narrow belief system.

  • I think god put you here to test my faith dude!!! Excellent! Just excellent

  • Fearless legend !!!

  • science without religion is lame religion without science is blind

  • "schience without religion is lame"? Did you hear that from a high school kid or something? Or maybe a Bob Jones University student? That makes no sense whatsoever. Religion has been the enemy of science since the birth of both, and the world will not become the garden of Eden until we cast off all ridiculous superstitions and live lives based in reality, rather that praying to imaginary fucking spacemen.

  • Actually, religion and science have always been closely related due to their pursuit of knowledge of the unknown.

What you know today as organized religion is a mockery of what real religion is, the persuit of knowledge, be it spiritual, philisophical or otherwise.

Many scientists are of the opinion that science is the process of trying to 'know God (or Gods)'.

    Organized religion = bad.

    Absolute science/religion = good

  • Religion has never pursued truth about the unknown - it has instead fabricated explanations for the things we see around us, and then failed to care whether they actually are true or not.

Big ball of fire in the sky? Must be some sentient being that is ruling our fate! Sounds good!

  • You're referring to organized religion. Being told what to believe by others is obviously bullshit. I mean religion in the personal sense, ie what YOU believe, regardless or in spite of of what others try to tell you.

  • All religion is organized. If you hold personal beliefs about god/s those are not religious ideas, but spiritual ones. Religion, by its very definition, is the organized teaching and ritualization of these kinds of ideas.

But now we are just arguing semantics ;)

  • @TheMillsEffect You're referring to faith which is a load of BS, what you believe has absolutely nothing to do whit the truth, you should always search the truth and not seek comfort in any sort of belief which claims to know anything, for truth is a pathless land. Religion is organized belief so religion has absolutely nothing to do whit any personal level, it's simply a belief that is shared by more people.

  • @BaNeK8 There is truth in religion, proof of the existance of jesus and his crucifiction. The shroud of turin.

  • @onelove5191 Jesus was a Semitic Jew, which means he didn't look European at all. More recent gospels have included physical descriptions of Jesus that paint him as somewhat hunched with small, intense eyes and a large, crooked nose, not what the church was peddling in those days as a benevolent savior. Look at the shroud and look at a dictionary for a definition of proof. There is no proof in religion THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF IT!!!

  • @BaNeK8 idk, i dont really care either way. im not arguing or anything btw. im a strong believer in god and jesus and all. but i see what you are saying.

  • @onelove5191 Look I don't give a rats ass what u believe as long as u don't support those EVIL bastards that run the church, if you really believe please read the bible if you would then there is no way that you could advocate religion!!! And how the FUCK can you believe in something that you know nothing about is beyond me? You don't believe in god you believe in a story someone told you! Don't take it personally this goes to all those that claim to believe in god and visit churches.

  • @BaNeK8 What i believe is whats in the bible, which is what is read and discussed at the church i go to. And, no i dont support the evil bastards that run the catholic church because they are the ones that try and rule everything and try tell everybody what to believe. Christians for the most part accept anybody's beliefs.

  • @onelove5191 Yes I agree whit that, real christians do, but today there is a lot of people who say they are christians and yet they do not live as they should according to the book. Please tell me where in the book does it say that there should be any church whatsoever either as a building or an organization? Is there no other place to discuss it then your church? You have the book, so why in gods name do we need any priests or temples?

  • @BaNeK8 Yeah i see where you are coming from, I personally think people go to church to get a better understanding of what the bible says, because the bibles are written for the most part in the older english language and some people arents good at interpreting what it says. Thats why I go to the church i go to, and it also has more of a family feeling to it. And i agree, there is alot of people that say they are christians when they really dont know what christianity is.

  • I think that would be called spirituality. Religion is always organized.

  • agree there is a place for spirituality in life, and I think spirituality is what you mean when you say "absolute religion". But religion has always and will always be a machination of imperfect men. Men who are lower than even the skeeviest used car salesman, as what they are selling promises something as precious as enlightenment, and delivers only a pack of lies and fear.

  • @TheMillsEffect Completely, and many scientists dead or still alive were/are christian.

  • @TheMillsEffect c,mon. science and religion do not walk hand and hand. maybe in your perfect little world but not in the real world

  • @JAKETHEGREAT11100

In the context of my statement, they do.

  • imaginary spacemen that I bet gave Hick's family some comfort after he died.

  • I would think they took comfort from knowing their son lived his life the way he wanted to. They knew full well what their son believed. He spent he last weeks of his life, unable to speak, living with his parents and showing them documentaries on things important to him. That included documentaries about how religion is a cancer on society.

  • Besides, just because something gives comfort does not make it good. Many families of murder victims would find it comforting to torture the perpetrators to death, but we don't allow that.

A crazy man may find comfort in speaking to plants, that does not mean we should all speak to plants and trust them to guide our lives.

  • Can we stop with the arguments please?

  • @TheMillsEffect no offense dude but you should have done what most uploaders did when uploading a video that contains contents that talk religion did..... remove comments. ohhh btw thnx for upload :)

  • I can tell you must be a serious reader, because you make your point so eloquently.

Lemme tell you a little truth, since it is what you claim to seek. This is a Bill Hick YouTube video comments thread. Bill Hicks is a hero for many atheists today. Coming here and YELLING about how atheism is stupid is not going to get you anywhere. You have chosen the wrong forum for your garbage....

  • ...I don't waste my time arguing with fundamentalist Christians in their heroes' YouTube comments threads, and I suggest you stop wasting your time trying to argue with me. You will fail to change my mind, as all you seem to be capable of is yelling and profanity. FACTS change my mind, not idiots yelling and calling me names in YouTube threads...

  • ...As for the origins of science: it is tied to our pre-history. The first human being to observe his environment, use his observations to form a hypothesis, and then test that hypothesis empirically was, without knowing it, practicing science.

The very nature of religion is in conflict with observation. Religion talks about what is NOT observable. I don't mean not observable right now, like in the case of dark matter or the future. I mean not observable ever. Not now, not before, never..

  • ..So to sum up, the first scientists were the ancient humans who observed that clubs made killing easier and figured out how to harness and use fire. The abstract notion of 'science' would not exist for a long time, but they were ahead of their time ;)

You might very well be a very nice guy, and maybe even an intelligent one DOLLAR1. But you are doing yourself a dis-service by acting like a boor. We are a thread dull of folks who thing religion is silly. Why am I a clown for that? Hmmm?

  • Bill wasn't an atheist, he actually experimented with altered states of conscience and was more or less gnostic. It's really simple when you remove the speculative from religion. The "Unseen" forces are readily available and viewed through by various simple techniques. As far as the scientific process goes look at Hinduism in it's scientific branches.

  • @GIMMEADOLLAR1 go shit your self

  • @lodestone77 "science without religion is lame" is a quote from Albert Einstein. Bet you feel stupid now don't you?

  • @lodestone77 : They studied the Jim Jones school of thought.
