  • @woodoom4n Absolutely. Those two cars are aimed at entirely different markets. The beer-drinking pony-car market is the polar opposite of the latte-sipping yuppie market. Having owned both a 1970 2002 and a 71 GT 'Stang I can tell you most Mustang drivers will actually explore the limits of their cars, while most BMW drivers drive like they are off to the library, never once hitting the speed, rev limiters or tire adhesion limits, over the life of their ownership. There are exceptions of course.

  • Hello numbskulls: if you've ever seen the movie Bullitt and enjoyed it and enjoyed the Mustang in it, you'd understand why you'd want one of these. Secondly, it's like buying a GT for slightly more and it won't depreciate like crazy like a standard GT will. It's not complicated :)

  • The bullitt option was 3300 not 7k , whats different, brakes, suspension , sound , color , seats, and you can put the rpms up more then the 2008 gt, wheels , cold air induction and it is a numbered car with only 7700 made :)

  • @c0c0asauce no doucher, we bought them because they're sleek, stealthy, and a hell of a lot quicker than a regular gt, but then again we'd have to get u out that POS geo metro you drive to see what it actually feels like to drive one.

    ZO6 is a great car, for its price ... and against it's rivals (Porsche 911 turbo, Merc SL63, Nissan GTR) i does well

  • @nsspartan77 the vortech V3 supercharger which is around 500 crank hp, so they say, its got a lot more kick to it, im debating whether or not to sell it for the 2011 GT prem or shelby, hopefully i can trade it in and pay a few thousand for a new GT...that would be a blast but idk

  • @ADD8oi man if you can grab a 2011 shelby, go for it allll the way. quick question tho, how much modification to the engine did you have to do in order to use the SC. i know headers are a must but anything like boring or forging? or was it strictly a bolt on? i want a supercharger but not trying to spend too much on extra engine work

  • @nsspartan77 vortec made it as a direct bolton and ive been using bbk ceramics on mine, but yeah the only other thing i recomend are thumpr cams, those things just sound godly, not even kidding

Please can you give me a link which has the statistics and proof that a corvette ZR1 is better than every european car on a track. Now get off your dads computer and go to bed.     Ever looked at those leave springs?? They are made of composite material and are mounted transverse. Much lighter than normal springs and lower the cars center of gravity. To be honest, most european cars get demolished by the ZR-1 on the track, I`d say about 99% of all european cars.

    lol now i'm just gunna say for the money the Zr1 shits on euros performance wise. and if your gunna bring up the size of engines americans use then look at Mercedes benz. They are using those large displacement engines too.

    The fact still remains too that the 5.0 is only .09 (which could be due to driver error or etc) sec slower than the E92 M3 and it has a SRA. and again the price difference. and thats stock if i took the money i had left over i could make the mustang killer

The only reason you claim European cars are better is because European cars are already tuned and not customizable our American muscle cars as customizable as you can get.   • darkrx777 the Bullitt has many suspension and handling mods. bigger brakes a ford racing air intake which gives the Bullitt a 15 hp boost over the stock gt. The Bullitt has a tuned exhaust to match the movie car, which if you've seen the movie the sound of the 8 minuite car chase will make you want to have sex with even the ugliest of women. But most importantly is the nostalgia that the car gives you over any of the other mustangs. I'd take this car over the new GT500 any day of the week.

  • also the 315 hp rating is on regular 87 fuel:) just add premium and numbers go up:)

  • the difference is that if you wanna enter a drifting competition in a mustang gt you have to modify suspension and other parts, with the bullitt you can drift circles around other cars as is:)
