  • Thanks for the memories and great play! Manster we could have used U last night! These Cowboys have no heart! They dont know what it means to be a Dallas Cowboy! By the way we were robbed in SB XIII ! The Ref's must have been

on the Steeler payroll! Not only did call a shitty game they even blocked for them!

  • Randy White wasn't only a great player, he was the man who continue the proud legacy of Cowboys Defensive tackles. legacy that started with bob lilly and now Jay ratliff continues that proud line.

  • LOVE that first part where he sacks that POS steeler QB!!! YEAH

  • I loved Landry's Cowboys! Randy White and Too tall!

  • im sorry all you folks missed this, he was half man and half monster, therego the MANSTER. He was the greatest to play the game fuck Reggie and LT they were second to the MANSTER.

  • Great video-Perfect music accompanying it- Randy was one of my favorite players- That Dallas doomsday defense in the 70's was awesome- I would put it third of all time behind 70's Pittsburgh and 1984-1985 Chicago Bears. Thanks for the post- makes me want to suit up and hit again

  • @adbartels Steelers offense put up some big numbers on them! i think Minnesota had a great defence as well as Denver's orange crush and the Raiders....i say they were 3rd of the 70's, but not 3rd of all-time..... Ravens, Patriots in the 1st couple of Brady SB's, Bears, even Tampa Bay with Warren Sapp, Lynch and ronde barber.

  • :31 chuck howley

  • And still just clean and legal hits, no bullshit, a great player

  • One of the great DTs of all time, but definitely a steroid user. He arrived at Maryland weighing about 225 pounds, able to bench maybe 275. Left weighing about 260 and able to bench over 450. His radical transformation seemed to happen in about a 3-4 month period. Unbelievable player in college, though. Got to watch him play several times and teams wouldn't even run to his side of the field.

  • @bailinnumberguy I never herd about him using Roids. Although I herd the Steelers did

  • @bailinnumberguy You know he may not even had been 225. I thought he was smaller, maybe 210. Wasn't he supposed to have been a linebacker?????

  • Too bad someone outside football, from more recent time, can't butt heads with RW. Specifically, the human Sequoia Krasilnikov from the Ukraine, superheavy weightlifter who looks like any charging rhino would bounce off him like hitting thick titanium post. If hydraulic lift in garage is out, send for KRASILNIKOV.

  • i played along side of randy for 5 years.....mean son of a bitch....did not care 4 blacks at all...

  • Darryl,

I read that he and Harvey Martin were the best of friends. In fact, Harvey was the only person on the entire team that went to Randy's father's funeral. So was it that Randy didn't care for blacks or didn't care for you?

  • believe me....he did NOT likes blacks...

  • @darrylhaynes Don't be discouraged. He didn't like whites either.

  • White had to be calmed down on game day...heck, he had to calmed down in scrimmage..he was phenom, good to know you had Randy on your side

  • he is a bad ass

  • I saw a old video of Charlie Waters talking about Randy White, He said off the filed he was very quiet, humble friendlist guy that there was. But once he put on that uniform, he changed , That I actually was afraid of Randy White.

  • God i love it when he is killing the eagle's QB's over the years and Bradshaw too! Show that again!!

  • There seriously needs to be a better tribute to the best defensive tackly of his era. Randy White was the best example of speed, strength, speed, and downright meaness in the game. His legacy should be more than an unclear and out of focus clip like this.

  • hey pal great clip.....you showed the sack over craig morton at the super bowl win against denver...you forgot to say that he got the mvp in that superbowl....and if i am not wrong, was the first time mvp in superbowl for a defensive player.

    dr j

  • no, Chuck Howley was, another Cowboy

  • Actually, there were two defensive players that were MVP before him and one also being a Cowboy in Chuck Howley.

  • His very presence froze offensive linemen. He was the benchmark for DT,s for many years. That dallas line was so fun to watch.

  • Im going to be the next Randy White Hes my hero

  • Greatest to ever play at that position, could dominate a game from DT position. Class Act all the way!

  • Randy White was a beast!

  • Randy White, my altime favorite Cowboy!!!

  • I used to watch him at Maryland Games! Some of you die hard Dallas fans even though I am skins Fan wish you could have seen some those games! He single handle won a game for us. 24 tackles 2 sacks and fumble recovery!!!!!!!! I was there got his Autograph in person well thats when hes nice man on the field well we all no that name!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Should be more videos of Randy on Youtube the Manster was one of the best Linemen alltime to me! This is coming from a Redskins Fan stupid Skins he played at the University of Md letting get out our own back yard!

  • i simply love this man i picture him wanting to mess with me because of whatelse that would be something

  • randy white andd bob LiLLy rockss :D

  • I remember seeing him in a convenience store of all places in Lewisville back in '94, I was behind him in line and he was asking the clerk for some coppenhagen chew. I instantly recognized his voice before I even saw his face and I turned to my dad and said 'hey that's Randy White'. Afterwards we were all outside and Randy seemed to be waiting for us to ask for an autograph maybe, my dad shook his hand but I was too nervous and just looked on. I wish that I would have shook his hand now.

  • Grew up following the Cowboys because of Bob Lilly

  • Bob Lilly turns 70 today

  • BOB LILLY RULES !

  • He was awesome, I really liked too tall as well.

  • The MANSTER! My football idol growing up in the 70's. I played MLB, but I tried to model my playing style after him. Mean as Hell, but always a gentleman.

  • one of the best...never took a down off and busted his ass EVERY PLAY..

  • Perfect song for the Manster! As far as Randy White sucks - hey shevriviligio - White did it without Coke; unlike that sorry ass punk LT! LT couldn't have held a candle to the Manster! I'd take the Manster any day and twice on Sunday for football, on my side for a fight, or hell to carry on a conversation with. LT - even when he isn't high he is so incoherent you'd think he is!

  • thats white power right there

  • The Manster! Wish you had footage of when Randy White squared off with LT and LT pulled a young dumb rookie mistake by taking his helmet off in a fight.

  • i got the same # as himn and play the same position

  • song :O?

  • randy 'the manster' white: one of the greatest of all-time.

  • 1:21 The dude drops the dude over the other dude dude :D

  • I had the pleasure of meeting Randy White a few days ago, and it was great! He is such a friendly and humble guy, that you would never guess that he is a Hall of Famer, and one of the greatest defensive players ever.

  • I went to randy's big man football camp. it is amazing it teaches you how to use martial arts and football together it is great stuff. Go to his camp

  • i cant wait! randy white big man camp. he is teaching us his d-line techniques.

  • i have a signed ball of randy white... but its a plastic ball. he is also in hall of fame 98

  • This is one of the greatest d-line men ever!

  • at 0:32 how could beat pittsburg in the regular season when they had terry bradshaw but NOT in superbowls 10 and 13

  • manster was one scary motherfucker!

  • The manster rocks

by fare the best cowboy ever

  • At 0:32 it shows show in a 1972 17-13 Cowboy victory over Pittsburgh #54 Chuck Howley tackling Terry Bradshaw.

  • he was a linebacker to

  • Great job Sampson. I loved the Manster. The Boys need him and Too Tall (and about a dozen others).

  • Just the presence of

  • randy white would kick any ones azz

  • harvey martin was a nice player too i still can see him coming off of the edge and harvey got him on man

  • #54 randy white, #63 larry cole, #72 ed jones, #79 harven martin, ofensive line of the 70´s

  • Didn't they play defense?

  • I think you mean defensive

  • My favorite Dallas Cowboy!

  • Offensive linemen had nightmares about Randy White as well as the others on that defensive line.

  • Randy White was my all time favorite DL, nobody was better.

  • reggie white, alan page, deacon jones. warren sapp, mean joe greene, merlin olsen ,bob lilly

  • Out of that group Bob Lilly maybe was equal. Page, Jones, Sapp? No Way!

  • nobody was as fierce as white

  • Cool, except that the first sack shown at :30 is not Randy White. It's linebacker Chuck Howley, who wore 54 in Dallas for many years before Randy White got there.

  • randy white kicked ass

  • Dawm! i hope one day Bobby Carpenter plays like him

  • randy white and roger staubach were a deadly combo of the 70's and then randy white and everson walls were a deadly combo of the 80's,anybody who agree's come 2 my page

  • the manster was a beast and hit anything that moved

  • This guy hit like a freaking train. Excellent dt of the 80's.

  • cowboys are going all the the way this year cant wait for the season to start. who do u guys think their play in the superbowl this year?

  • and most underrated Dt ever

  • thats right, good football knowledge

  • A error has been made here. The 5th picture is not RW but #54 Chuck Howley from 1972.

  • lol i know i realized that a little while after I posted it, I thought maybe I could get away with it. I was like Oh shit that wasnt randy lol.

  • damn it im pissed som1 noticed now lol

  • What must I do to post a response here?

  • he is the best!

  • hes not good cuzz he closelines people every single play

  • ......... the Manster would eat you just for saying something that stupid...

  • thats white power there

  • he has been claimed to, but i really don't think he did

  • Trust me he did. My dad played at Maryland at the same time, and it was common knowledge that many of the palyers (including Randy) used some form of steroids. He was also a big drinker and partier at UMD (not to mention a bit of a womanizer).

  • whatever... i hate roid heads , still was a great player though

  • Everybody used Stickum too. What's your point?

  • That he, like many professional athletes, are frauds that have damaged the game. Fuck pro sports.

  • If you hate pro sports so much, why do you comment on Youtube videos that feature pro sports? And what does your credibility matter? Who's your dad? Answer: no one. You made it up on the spot. Get lost.

  • dude, what guy in college wasnt a drinker or womanizer?????????? at least it never impacted his play on the field, he showed up gave 100% every play no matter what. unlike the so called players of today

  • and he never showboated! best sports player ever. he tackled you and didnt care what other people thought of him

  • The heart and soul of DOOMSDAY II. I love seeing him hit Ron Jaworski of the Eagles!

  • yea I always thought that was his best hit, a sack and a fumble how much better can it get than that

  • Nice work on the video. He was a great player

  • i wish we could bring the young manster from the past and replace roy williams

  • The guys of today couldn't compete against Manster, Butkus, or Alzado. They may be bigger, but not badder...

  • I agree with you , but I don't think Alzado belongs in the same sentence as butkus and whit though. Lol I'm not bein an asshole ... I just hate steroids and the players that take them (Alzado). But true no1s as badass these days.

  • if the cowboys had tackled like this against the giants today they would have advanced

  • Randy White is my all time favorite Cowboy. He played full speed no matter if the Cowboys were far ahead or far behind. He had to be triple teamed at times. In the locker room, all the players would horse around but they left him a clear path. Thomas Henderson popped him with a towel once and the Manster picked him up with one hand and pinned him against the wall.

  • BEAST

  • i go to the high school randy white went to =) Thomas Mckean High in Delaware his mother lives in my neighborhood =) so w00t

  • Kicked Ass nice tunes too makes me think of the old days

  • OLD SCHOOL!!!!!NICE

  • I went to a pre-season game in 1983. I think they were playing the bears. Randy White got so pissed off at the Frig he ripped his helmut off and beat him over the head with it. It was f-ing great. Only guy not to strike in the 84 strike. Nobody f-ed with him when he crossed the picket line. Go Manster!

  • yea ... page was another dominant dt , they dont have any game footage of him anywhere though.

  • alan page and randy white are the same thing

  • Go Cowboys!!Great video

  • Randy was one of the greatest if not the greatest D-lineman

  • Randy White was my hero growing up. And I'm from Canada. In grade 3 or 4, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. I drew a big picture of Randy White sacking the Denver QB in the Super Bowl. It was awesome. I did it colour pencil but never finished all the way because I was trying to do to much. I wonder where that pic is today?

  • Awesome, Randy White is a LEGEND!!!
