@TinyVessels23 - Totally agree, he does seem sad and pretty out of it, and he performs quite badly - but that's what makes it so true. He's not like all of these professional great musicians who can sing their songs about breakup every night and do it well... He's a real person, forced to sing such a happy song (with a little doubt) about the love he lost (and it's fuckin' Laura Marling, not just a girl!).

So the performance here is bad and that's what makes it so good.
