it would have been cool if a bunch of Verdugos showed up in the mercenaries minigame, that would be a real challenge :). But the double chainsaw guy is still #1 to make me shit my pants..
I just started playing re4 again after like 4 years without playing n when it came to the verdugo fight I was a little scared again lol!! This game is among my top 10 favorites games of all time!!!!
I remember when I was a kid and RE4 scared me a good deal of times, but the only time in the whole game where I was legitimately absolutely terrified me was when you fight Verdugo. There the whole build up with him in the tunnel and running into the door then you see "please wait 4 minutes for the elevator to rise" (never a good sign) only to have Verdugo fucking jump down! and then I ran out of tanks. (fuck!) I was sweating by the time the elevator came up! He seriously gave me nightmares! :(
If you don't have a rocket launcher. Get the power back on, while the elevater is on hold. Stall the boss long enough for the elevater to operate again. Get on the elevater and get out, then you win.
You can kill the Verdugo yeah, it takes a while but it does die, if you have a rocket launcher its dead very quick, you can use the Liquid Nitrogen to freeze it and weakens it and slows it down enough for you to shoot it, failing that go for the Chicago Typewriter is strong enough to kill it, and can kill just aboot anything in a few shots. I loved this boss fight reminded me so much of aliens
I saw the Rocket launcher but my suitcase was already full so I passed on it... I froze him with the nitrogen but I emptied my shotgun, magnum and sniper ammo on him with no result, so I thought you could just hope to survive long enough...
@Lyendith Easiest way to do it is to freeze him with the nitrogen and use the rocket launcher you get for free in chapter 3-3 (Unless you used it on the two Garradors before this boss!)
Your inventory just reminded me of why I loved the bolt action rifle so much. Power of a magnum but painfully slow. This gun, the striker, and the 1st shotgun are my favorites. I hate having to choose between 100 capacity shotty and the sniper shotty... I wish there was mine thrower ammo. That gun is to much fun.
First time I played this guy I didn't know you could kill him, so I just waited for the goddamn elevator to come up. By far the most scared I had ever been in a video game :P

I have a trick against Verdugo, there is a nitrogen tube, drop, and when exposed to Verdugo he would freeze, then shoot it with RPG (if any), and he will die (broken). Well, maybe you already know the tricks that ...
This boss always reminded me of the Xenomorph creature of fame in the "Alien" film series. It also, in much part due to this, freaked the heck out of me when I came across it in this part of this game when I was in my mid-teens or so. This is one formidable beast.

@Zeratul723 This is NOT an easy fight if you are not sure what to do, thus the walkthrough. I personally couldn't figure out that somehow if I knocked over the nitro tanks it would only hurt the monster, not me. It didn't make any sense, so I didn't do it the first time I fought him, and died, a lot. Actually, I had no idea you could do that, until someone told me about it. Even so, it is still immensely difficult to actually KILL this mofo. All you can do is run.
i ran from him too. thank god for the table in the elevator room. just ran in circles aroung a table that is only 2 ft wide. this is not a very smart boss.

@igneousfizzlebottom in this case, i think it´s at the maximum (bonus upgrade included), but i also got another video where the stats of my weps are shown, only weps you can get t this point (same with the upgrades)
this couldn´t be the hard mode because i played the hard mode with the hand cannon and it has a power of 100 and he needed more than 10 bullets to go down this f****** bastard

I played most of RE:4 in the middle of the night. And I played it in my old gameroom which was outside my house in its on little section that only had itself and a bathroom. And I gotta say this scared the hell out of me. Escpecially my friend who lives acros the street decides to come over and bang the door as loud as he can. Man I was freaked. Anyway nice playthrough I only used the run away as fast as I can route cuz I was so scared.
@Rikulz My first experience with this crap fucker was in my holydays, where I was alone in a huge house in poland (where i come from), i played through the canalisation, and that freaked me a bit , bcuz i was scared, that a thief would break in the house, dunno i heard strange noises the whole time, and then , when i fought that guy here .... my pulse was on about 200 and i really went into a sort of embryo position cause i was so scared .... congrats nintendo ... you made it :)

@zeroplayers uhm, do you want me to upload a short video of showing the options where you see the easy mode? on the game cube version actually really IS an easy mode, the diffrence is, that the enemys die faster, the las plagas don´t break out of the ppl so often anymore and the maze garden in salazars castle is closed,, so you don´t have to walk through it, the door is already open, so no need for getting the 2 medals
first time i did it i hit him with the rocket and i died but then as i was running away from him i went in to the room with the one in the cornner then you know the rest
( and also, neverneverneverneverEVERrrrr throw a flamegrenade on him while he is frozen, because that will melt him and make him laugh an eeevil laugh.)
Good to know when battling him: Yeah freezing him is the best way to kill him without rocket launcher. You can kill him with the rocket launcher without freezing him, but its harder to hit him without. You can make small ammounts off damage by shooting him in the stomach,if you have the chicago typewriter this is a good way to finish him off. P.S. Gute Kampf :)
i love Verdugo (Alien/Salazar's Right Hand) hes so strong. one time i tryed to use the infident RL on hem but it had no effect on hem and he just waved hes finger at me and i was like "god damit!!" if you don't frezze hem then your dead as fuck
I just beat him on professional. 15 shots with the magnum while frozen to kill him. And that's even after I kicked him to the ground. Badass boss though.
Damn!! You made that look easy! That thing killed me 3 times the first time I played. 4th time, I freeze it and shoot Rocket Launcher at it. It got the job done. :D

One tip guys.

I played most of RE:4 in the middle of the night. And I played it in my old gameroom which was outside my house in its on little section that only had itself and a bathroom. And I gotta say this scared the hell out of me. Escpecially my friend who lives acros the street decides to come over and bang the door as loud as he can. Man I was freaked. Anyway nice playthrough I only used the run away as fast as I can route cuz I was so scared.

@Rikulz My first experience with this crap fucker was in my holydays, where I was alone in a huge house in poland (where i come from), i played through the canalisation, and that freaked me a bit , bcuz i was scared, that a thief would break in the house, dunno i heard strange noises the whole time, and then , when i fought that guy here .... my pulse was on about 200 and i really went into a sort of embryo position cause i was so scared .... congrats nintendo ... you made it :)

@smackmabitchup are u sure? - cause i played it on hard and normal for wii - and i think very hard. And ive needed so much time to get this part - cause ive ever tried to kill him, but i didnt. And i think im a really good resi player. but maybe im wrong....if i watch this im gettin very angry cause i spent to much time in killing the verdugo...

@Nairam10 dude seriously? theres only a normal and pro mode on the gc ps2 versions hes playing the gc version its normal or hard if ur thinking of easy mode its the pc version that had an easy mode

@zeroplayers uhm, do you want me to upload a short video of showing the options where you see the easy mode? on the game cube version actually really IS an easy mode, the diffrence is, that the enemys die faster, the las plagas don´t break out of the ppl so often anymore and the maze garden in salazars castle is closed,, so you don´t have to walk through it, the door is already open, so no need for getting the 2 medals

Good to know when battling him: Yeah freezing him is the best way to kill him without rocket launcher. You can kill him with the rocket launcher without freezing him, but its harder to hit him without. You can make small ammounts off damage by shooting him in the stomach,if you have the chicago typewriter this is a good way to finish him off. P.S. Gute Kampf :)

i love Verdugo (Alien/Salazar's Right Hand) hes so strong. one time i tryed to use the infident RL on hem but it had no effect on hem and he just waved hes finger at me and i was like "god damit!!" if you don't frezze hem then your dead as fuck
