  • armand van helden is a fuckin' god!

  • This Track is HEAVY ! he def set the trend with this, baselines so smooth!!!!! nuff soundheads take this pattern I hear this same rhythms in current house music

  • the witch doktor

  • I wish I was an octopus and had thumbs on each arm cause I would give this fucking track 8 thumbs up then use the same thumbs to give Justin Beiber 8 thumbs down. and 8 middle fingers as well.

  • A pro všechny povedený čísla: Doktor čarodějnic :-))

  • GREAT FUCKIN' RECORD. THE CLASSICS NEVER DIE!!!

  • Only realising that "WOO", deadmau5 musta sampled in cthulhu sleeps. Rather cool :)

  • @TheDeadm0use Nuff soundheads copy this pattern however this dude was the frst to set the trend

  • @TheDeadm0use Nuff soundheads copy this pattern however this dude was the frst to set the trend, Check out Knas-Steve angello ... he basicly had this beat while he was makin knass

  • Oi niitä aikoja...

  • Ha! This was the shyt!

  • Nanday San Miguel

  • Brilliant discussion, but I must admit, StephenSuttieHouse, that Deadmau5 is a very famous DJ. Furthermore, if you say things like 'he's a kid who plays with CDJ's', you really should read a bit more about today's deejays. Because that reaction is one pile of unknowingness...

Note: I am not Canadian, I am Belgian.

  • @Doenderke yeah thats a SKILL doenderke...a talent!

  • Armand Van Helden Minister Of Underground

  • Damn I want to go to an underground raveparty!

  • the tunnel it seems the beggining of the video

  • THUMBS DOWN FOR THE FUCKING CORPORATIONS AND THERE FUCKING ADS

  • reminiscence...luv it!!! thanxoxo for posting *^o^*

  • Roxy...miss those days!

  • OMG I LOVEEEEEE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the good old days of clubbin in da village!!

  • Takes me back to my rave days at Angels on St. Laurent street in Montreal, Quebec, Canada circa 1992-1993. Good times indeed!

  • There is no doubt: This is the best house song of history.

  • I just realized that the screaming vocal on the track is Michael Jackson. It's a soundbite from Off The Wall. If you listen to the song then you could hear Michael Jackson screaming into the microphone.

  • Haha frigging adverts before an AVH track? Strictly Rhythm all over!

  • Man, this is straight up old-school rave.

  • GOOD VID BUT THE SONG IS BORING!

  • Comment removed

  • @TheAMERIKANPSYCHO the song is not boring idiot!! its a real house classic you ignorant..

  • it was 17 years ago ......... WOW... I still remember the illegal drinks. OLD SKOOL

  • i'm 22 and remember it clearly.

  • BIG TUNE!!!!! This is the sound of countless warehouse raves in the mid-90's, the best era!!!! Remember when the floor used to go BONKERS and everyone was off their heads!!! Love this one :)

  • @OKrepresent

Agreed!!! Los Angeles underground represent!! Best.Times. Ever.

  • @OKrepresent Raves in the mid 90s? Are you lacking infromation or something?

Rave died in 1992/93. By 1994 it was Clubbing.

  • @StephenSuttieHouse

Nah, don't think rave'll ever die :P Maybe it became less main-stream or something. But it's still out there, and it's big.

  • @Springbock01 It died in 1993 I assure you.

Underground clubs took over by 1994. along side High St handbag/beer monster clubs.

Rave cerainly didnt ever surface from 1994 to 2000 (when I got outta the clubbin scene). Large well organised festivals with varying music tents, replaced ealry 90s illegal rave events. Rave died in 1993. Dont know if it came back in the 00s. Maybe it did.

  • @StephenSuttieHouse

Okay, well, haven't been around that long :') I was three years old when it died. But nowadays I can find some cool rave-parties. This night in fact!:P But I don't know if it's the same as in the old days. (I think the music-style kindda changed actually... but it's still the uptempo-house inspired music) But it isn't dead around here, it just slumbers and sometimes they throw a cool party. But you have to look for it, yes. ;)

  • @Springbock01 Right, your form Holland. END OF CONVO.

Im talking about the UK, as im from the UK. I dont know how other countries music scenes work. END OF CONVO.

    Im not from Holland.

    God dam internet.

  • @Springbock01 PS: Patrick Prins is the best god dam house music producer. I love your country for producing him.

  • @StephenSuttieHouse raves didn't die in 1993 I'm from canada and they still had them going long and hard until about 20009when it was extremely popular) everything from hhc parties to trance house and whatever you name it. we still have raves now def not like the ones back in the day and i know peoplE that throw underground parties still. RAVE WILL NEVER DIE!!!!

  • @glowstick13 Canada is different from UK.

Im not from Canada. Canada and house music. Lol at glowstick thinkg Canada knows about house music.

Know your house music, USA and UK is where the real House music was son.

  • @StephenSuttieHouse

hahaha, pft, give me a fucking break. drugs and raving has always been far more accepted in Canada than it ever was in the states. what kinda' raves were you all raving? getting locked up for smoking a joint probably, hahaha.

the better part of Dim Mak records are Canadians, Deadmau5 is probably the biggest name in house right now, he's Canadian.. do your homework.

  • @9thatom My homework began in 1988 and ended in 2000 son, when House got complete shite.

  • @9thatom dead "mau5????" Whos he, never ever heard of him. Bet hes some kid using CD-Js to help him mix, wearing some novelty head gear, that plays his own tunes.

  • @StephenSuttieHouse He's a genius and the fact that I'm listening to this song because i listened to his remix gives him props for making it more famous.By the way his remix is way better.

  • Aw man, the memories!!

  • I'm 24 and I lOveeee this song LOL... specially when IM high lol Ohh I LOVE NYCCCCCCCCCC The best city in world

  • this is proper out of your nut music

  • Yeah i sing this on karaoke every weekend in my local.....it goes down really well......

  • lmao

  • Ha ha ha ! Fucking Lollerz @ nizxbit

  • I don't know how he does it, but Armand can repeat "The Witch Doctor" 50 times and I never get sick of it.

  • you actually counted? rotflmao. it's called synthesizer

  • @arc27 LOL

  • @arc27 : sampling is an art in and of itself. :)

  • @arc27 my God, how DOES he do it?
