@wizardsyay You can use a grater to grate your jeans in spots until it gets thiner and thiner until you start developing a hole or grab a pair of scissors and cut out messy holes and wear it until it looks worn nicely and ripped. I hope this helped, I havent tried this out for myself but I read it somewhere that it works and a friend of mine tried this trick, it worked well for him. :)

@kitty2catt If, by 'braces', you're referring to overalls, both Gap and Urban Outfitters (in some cases, in store...others, may have to check their websites) now feature some overalls. They can also be found in many thrift stores and on sites like dickies.com (maker of overalls)
