@Konata990 The ride is absolutely awful now. They changed it so much and took Dreamfinder out which was a huge mistake made by Disney. I wish they would bring the original ride back. It was one of my favorites when I was a child.

Journey into Imagination used to have long lines. Journey with Figment has had absolutely no wait every single time that I've bothered to ride it, which has only been 3. After that, I stopped wasting my precious time in EPCOT on it. The lines speak volumes about this "new and improved" version. I wish that the DisExecs would take the hint. Bring back DreamFinder, and the spirit of the original ride, if not the original ride, itself.

I don't understand di$ney's reasoning for the changes that they made to this spectacular ride. Honestly, they changed it into a joke. With little to no whimsy, a complete change (negative, in my view) in persona of a beloved character, and no purpose other than to change for the sake of changing, they removed a great piece of art and replaced it with stink jokes.

I strongly prefer this Imagination ride, but need to give the newer one a chance. Figment is played by Dave Goelz, a veteran Muppet actor. The only thing I don't like is he's ANNOYING. But I gotta look beyond that.

Childhood memories come flodding back after watching this....im from england but have been so many times,ive heard that this ride has now changed! what a shame but its still got Figment so thats ok!! next time my 5 year old daughter will be coming :-))))

I loved this ride back in the day... but I love the new version too. As much as we hate to see attractions disappear, it's part of what makes Disney "Disney"... Walt had said the parks would never be finished, the evolution was part of his plan, for better or worse.

FWIW, my daughter was 4 1/2 the last time we went and the new JII was one of her faves. We're going back in Sept. and she will be 9 1/2 and her little sister 5 1/2... I'm sure they'll both love it.

It had been so many years since I was there, and wanted to take my oldest daughter (then 9) for a "mommy and daughter vacation" the way my mom used to do, and I told her all about this ride, and how much fun it was...how disappointed we were when we got there and realized it was gone. The new one doesnt even hold a candle to this one........

That's Chuck McCann doing the voice - years before it was revamped with Eric Idle. I love Eric Idle but I gotta say, Chuck's version was just so much better. It had sort of a Wizard Of Oz vibe to it when Chuck did it. I must've gone on this about 4 times back then. Loved it.

This version is much better than the one the they have right now. Man, Why put Eric Idle in Imagination w/ figment?

Yeah, but he's TOTALLY different. In this version, he's a child-like sprite. In the current version, he's an annoying little pest.
