  • Having trouble with playing guitar? You suck man. no offense.

  • having trouble with the pinch harmoincs?

  • @JoshC013 Tu mamá también :)

  • the head IS ridiculously big... and if you open it up, almost all empty space. I took the chassis out and it's all sealed, and very compact. I gave away the box. now I have a killer head in a tight package. this amp sounds good on distortion/gain but i gotta tell ya, the clean is amazing. if you are put off by the fako appearance, just ditch the particle board box.

  • How play this 0:03-0:21 ?

  • Atleast put the head on a good set of 12" speakers -_-

  • ok never mind i do have the exact same setup. haha. same head and same cab.

  • I didn't know that head was so RIDICULOUSLY GIGANTIC! I mean, why?

  • haha. thats funny i have a crate cab and a kustom head as well. not the same head but its kustom.

  • awesome playing on the still remains song

  • What ohm is this head? thanks!

  • i don't remember but you can download the manual from kustom's website and find it there.

  • @MrBrownstone1996 i believe it's 4 ohms

  • no offense, but i LOL'd @ the pinch's

  • Nice review! Im gunna get this amp in the combo 65W version :D

  • Hi, I just bought a new Kustom Quad 100 full stack.

What settings are you using? I'm learning to set it up

    Thank you

  • you gotta work on that lead playing lol. And pinch harmonics, but thx for the vid. I might be purchasing one of these soon

  • is this distortion just coming out of the amp head?

  • yes

  • loud enough 4 gigs ?>

  • sure, 4x12, it's decent, i got a marshall 60 watt jcm600 all tube and it's louder tough

  • That looks like a 4x10 to me...

  • yep, 4x10 , i play that model, and that is not so good as 4 x 12.

  • Great sounding amp. You should try it with the Seymour Duncan SFX-03 Twin Tube Classic Preamp Pedal.

  • Please whats your equalizer setup?? I mean..

I play on Kustom QUAD100- Bass- full, Middle- 11 o'clock High- 3 o'clock.. I like it, but.. THIS IS HEAVEN xD

Sorry about my English but... but! :D

  • just cut the mids dude, i no longer have this amp but i remember turning de mids to 0 and using the bigger balls mode.

  • whats the second song you played btw?

might be getting this amp head w/ the kustom quad box as an xmas present but have to wait till march to receive it, i think you got a pretty good tone, bit mushy but im sure its alot more clear in real life(recordings can mush stuff up)

  • the second song played is a song by a local hardcore band from aguascalientes mexico, they are called firme decision

  • that crate cabinet sounds awsome!!!

  • Is this Crate G412SL cab? Sounds very good!

  • hey with this amp?...would i be able to buy the head (no cabinet) and just run the head into the PA system using the line out?

  • sure i guess, lol, i sold it but i think i remember you can do that, you can also download the manual from their webpage

  • Has anyone played this custom combo? Is it sounding as good as this head?

  • Great Sound. I´m thinking about buy this head widt Kustom Quad cab. Will it be better? But.. why the part from 0:53 has so much better sound? Different EQ?

  • it was recorded from a longer distance

  • Not finding fault with your playing but the amp sounds very "Woffie"mushy low end with not alot of definition mabey it's the cab??

  • Maybe its a youtube video, not a spike jonez joint, silly dood.

  • its because the mids were at 1, to get a heavier sound

  • Thanks for advice dude!! =)

I'm going to buy the Head+Cab for 419€!

    Thanks alot =)

  • hmmm i'm thinking of buying the head.. and the kustom cab for it.. is it worth buying?

    it sounds really nice.

    thanks for advice ;)

good playing by the way =)

  • dude go for the kustom cab, this head sounds way much better with the kustom cabinet, and no way dude i sucked that day at playing bc of the crappy unadjusted guitar i had, but thanx anyway

  • is this head good for playing metal like still remains, and like killswitch engage? so for metalcore, screamo, stuffs like that?

  • A very nice amp, but running it through a cheap crate cab dont really benefit the sound...

  • yeah, that cab can't bear this amp, i think i'm actually selling it haha

  • yeah, that cab can't bear this amp, i think i'm actually selling it haha

  • yeah is that a 410 Cabinet?!? (Four 10" Speakers)...Back in the day, my father was running a Marshall 410 Slant Cabinet with a Marshall Lead 100 Mosfet Head...Now all he runs is Vintage Fender Tube Amps; Original 1965 Fender Bandmaster Head (Blackface), Original 1965 Fender Bassman Head (Blackface), Original 1969 Fender Bassman Head (Silver Face), 1965 Fender Twin Reverb 212 (Blackface), 1967 Deluxe Reverb 112, 2005 Fender Blues Junior Tube Amp, etc...& I run the Solid State Amps over 2 412 Cabs

  • whats the first thing you play ?

  • it was supposed to be the intro for still remains's the worst is yet to come, i know it sucks haha

  • its alright.

    it happens to people.

    you'll get better though.

    just practice all the time.

  • thats a nice head.

    work on your playing though.

  • thanx dude, yeah i suck, i started working to buy my gear, got outta college and now i cant play because of my job, that sucks!

  • Im thinking of buying that head or not maybe with a metal pedal from Boss.

I think with a multifx the sound would be terrible wouldnt it?

  • well if you use an amp modeling fx unit like pod xt it should sound pretty sweet, but you can also go for cheap and buy a metal zone or something like that

  • because some people in forums said it hasnt enough gain for harder metal styles.

    Which pickups do u use?

  • Well the secret for a metal distortion is cutting down the mids(actually not a secret),this amp can give you a nice metal sound as you heard on this video but it still lacks a bit of metalness so i use an electro harmonix Metal Muff distortion pedal when i play with it, i made this video using a crappy ibanez gax75 with stock pups and the amp's distortion only, i use dimarzio's and active EMG but when i made the video i only had that guitar at hand.

  • did u use any kind of pedal or multifx to get that sound?

  • no fx dude, setting for the lead channel: Balls or gain: 10, Boost: on, Low: 9, Mid: 0, Preamp: grind or usa, High: 7 and volume was at like 3 or 4.
