If you go on a website about "Katy Perry" (the singer) right now, there will be many young people there. At least a million hits. On this site, 9,266. So how do you get the word to the kids? Apparently they aren't on this site learning about the dangers of cigarettes....
ever asked how much is saved on healthcare when a smoker dies at 60 of cancer instead of at 80 in a hospital or in geriatric care?......not to mention the years of state pensions paid out over the 20 year period? Its a fact that early death by disease is less expensive on the state than dying many years after retirement. Quitting smoking is about healthier lives not money saved
What about healthcare costs? How much healthcare costs tobacco rise? How many working years will be lost when people die premature when they use tobacco?
Costs considered, tobacco still generates more revenue than it costs the healthcare service. I was using american statistics in this example, and unless I am mistaken, people buy private health insurance. So really, the smoker is already paying for a great deal of their healthcare, and generating revenue on top of that.
Also, according to a study by BUPA in 2004, the average life expectancy of a smoker is reduced by 10 years, which is retirement age, so on average, none.
CHEMRISK - a research company hired by the Corn Refiners has recently taken down it's YouTube page.
The removal was in response to negative public perception resulting from the high-fructose corn syrup ad campaign. Apparently it has become a liability to defend the sweetener.

You can enjoy alcohol responsibly and actually reap some health benefits from drinking in moderation (liver disease is not any higher in moderate drinkers than in abstainers). Moderate drinkers have less risk of cardiovascular disease and generally live longer than non-drinkers.
You cannot make the same argument for tobacco users.
dude, stop trying to tell people how to live their lives, i dont smoke but jeeze people need to calm down, alcohol is just as hard on your live as smoking is on your lungs but you dont see all this properganda against alcohol do you? all im saying is if people want to smoke its their choice NOT YOURS.
Modern day tobacco is a lot less unhealthy than it was back in the 40s and 50s. so you can't base any stats back to those days. Also, they don't allow tobacco advertising in F1 over here in Britain. It depends on if your govenrnment allows the tobbaco companies to advertise on the cars. so dont blame the teams. Personally i think Formula 1 Racing should be banned, not cigarettes. Its a lot more dangerous than smoking and a lot more expensive. Damn. Nnow i need a Smoke. ;-)
Have you or any of your friends ever driven a F-1 racer. F*** NO. So what is the likelihood that you will die in a race car?
If you were a race car driver your risk of death would be greater, but how many race car drivers are there in the world? Maybe 1,000. How many smokers are there? 1.3 billion.
anybody else have a lip of Chew in while watchin' this? haha, since i was 6 i've hada lip in and ain't gonna' kill me

What to do.
1. Turn tobacco farms into other crops for sale.
2. Turn tobacco farms into land for wind turbines and solar panels.
3. Tobacco Industry will invest in other things and send employees there.
