@Alyxium There was only one example. It was never meant to be comparative. I was just stating the fact that I have seen such things and know that it would only be considered appalling if the genders were reversed. I'm not using only two examples to form a conclusion, I'm only giving examples with my allotted 500 characters. Now, tell me that I'm wrong, and that men have mocked a woman on a television show who had been mutilated based on the fact that she wanted a divorce.

And no, I can't, off the top of my head, think of a man that talked about mutilating a woman because she wanted a divorce.
But after reading your comment I thought of the many comedians I've watched who've made jokes about violently raping women, domestic abuse etc.
Thing is most people dont care about sexism regardless of wether it's misandrist or misogynist.

@Alyxium The act of making a statement to levy humor at a paying audience does not equal out to something that actually happened. Just like how the punishment for threats are much less severe. The example I gave was not to make people think that women are evil, but to point out that they are equally capable of being sexist. I know you can't think of it, because such a crime has never happened in recent America, like it has in Ancient Rome. A good holiday to you, Alyxium.

@ginkotea If you look at the audience in the movie theater, at 3:49 or so, you will see that there are plenty of women in the audience as well. I have seen them cheer on a pair just as loudly and enthusiastically as men do.
That's all I'm going to say about the subject- Experience has taught me about people that people that miss the point by 9,000 miles and then get extremely angry about it- There isn't any point in arguing with them.
