  • This copy of H&J collection I bought online in large part was taken from TV airings, and any editing was most likely done by the TV network that was showing it. Thanks for the info--available copies of Heckle and Jeckle cartoons are sorely limited.

  • At 1:15 this copy has a pretty big scene cut out.I man orders the blue plate special. Which literally turns him blue when he eats it!

Then a very impatient customer starts yelling for service. Heckle then puts mustard and bread and his hand and gives it to him. The man, thinking it's a sandwhich, takes a bite and his horrified to see his hand missing at first but relieved to see it put back out(all of it was animated by Jim Tyer btw)

  • @Uncutcartoons247 Do you have that scene?

  • Originally released in October 1954. Directed by Connie Rasinski, written by Tom Morrison, with music by Philip A. Scheib. This is a TV print, slightly edited (the scene where the robbers point a gun at our magpies, announcing a stick-up, is missing).

  • 2:46 Donald Duck, Droopy and Porky Pig. LOL

  • This had the TV syndication opening title.

  • "Come to our diner

    Try our two-bit platter

We guarantee that when you leave

You'll be a whole lot fatter

    Our meatballs are bouncy

    Best you ever tasted

    Everything goes in our stew,

    Nothing's ever wasted"

I still love heckle and jeckle so much
