Dude honestly from 1:40 - the end those are amazing looking mustangs, i loved shelby at that time, the 09 models (which were probably available 08 but i mean the 2nd to newest bod style before they changed the front and back ends) were so Cool, now the tail lights ae hideous because they slant outwards and the front looks good but is like overdrive like almost too much and the bottom mouth on the grill is too big 8(

The KR was the best offered in 2009. The 2010 refined and added HP up to 540 for the 2010 GT500, The super Snake is a shelby add on package costs 30K, with a whipple supercharger and increases to 630 HP or can up grade to a bigger supper charger and go to 725-730 hp. I will settle for the 540HP thank you

Then Ford started Super Snaking w/ co-op from Shelby Racing, so you can buy it Super Snaked right from the dealership(special order of course) :)

You can't compare a mustang and a corvette...they are simply two different types of cars. If you want to bring the fight to chevy then try matching up the KR to the Chevy Camaro Hennessy tuned HPE750...much more accurate comparison. And if you want to compare the ZR1 to anything at Ford, try the Ford GT. All awesome cars!!

A KR must be purchased directly from the auto dealer and has 540HP. For a SS you must first purchase a GT500 and then send it to Shelby in Las Vegas for modification to 630 or 725 HP. Both are limited editions.

Above 200 Aerodynamics play a huge role. the sper snake doesnt have the power to make up for poor aerodynamics.

there is a difference between a super snake and a kr....the kr has two stripes going front and back....a super snake has one but two small ones next to each other.....and the other difference is the engine power....to me personally i would take the 2010 shelby gt500 and the 2008 super snake...personally

The KR (King Of The Road) Mustang was introduced in 1968 by Carroll Shelby to compete with Corvette, which featured a hopped up motor better brakes and tighter suspension from the standard GT500. The Super Snake, born in 1967 sported an even more highly modified and tuned motor brakes and suspension than the 68' KR and is a modified version of the GT500 not a production car like the KR. Your correct about there being no 2010 KR there is however the 2010 GT500 which has 540hp opposed to the previous models which only had around 500. And the KR model of course prior to 2010 had 550hp. And Shelby Automotive offered an upgrade package for current GT500 and KR owners in 2008. There were two upgrade packages from which to choose. A 620hp mod and tune which still kept your factory warranty from Ford and then a 725hp mod and tune which would have in turn void any warranties with Ford.
