I loved this episode :). But I know this is a family show and everything so they can't show too much blood and gore but come on Merlin's wound was practically invisible, not even his shirt was ripped.
I know this video is meant for Merthur fans (of which I am definite member of the club), but Percival riding off bellowing with his sword over his head will never fail to crack my shit up. Bwhahahahaha!
Colin is such an amazing actor, not only did he manage to pull off the changes in persona, he also portrays being injured very well. It's not like "OH GOD, THE PAIN! IT BURNS! KILL ME!", it's subtle but also easily felt, for example 2:20 it's little moments like that which make it believable
i wonder y they dont give merlin any armor i mean i know he is just a servant but he still deserves protection like everyone else does -.- merlin takes too much crap and yet does soooo much for camelot and especially arthur
you know, I never saw this as a children's show. Guess that explains the lack of blood on a grave wound. If it was made in the US, it would be all sunshine rainbow crap lol! I mean, it gets intense in this show! love it :)
They are not being shy about giving us the Merlin whump this season, are they? Doesn't hurt that it is such a good tool for bringing out Arthur's emotions and caring about Merlin. We finally get to see the other half of his big brother persona (the first half being the "giving younger brother a hard time" ^_^)
...Noticed how when the attacking people attack, the first thing Arthur does is ditch the cape? What was the point in even wearing it if it gets in the way?
@korumburrakid u should watch Supernatural then. Sam and Dean are always getting hurt! lolz, but i wonder how come there's not blood and no rip in Merlin's shirt, yet he's supposed to be gravely injured?
I am the same. I love it when the main character is in peril, especially in "Doctor Who" and "Merlin" (since the Doctor and Merlin do not get in as much trouble as Arthur and th Doctor's companions).

okay...merlin is tortured a lot in this season...BUT...i love it...because then we can see such wonderful merthur scence where they show us...how important merlin for arthur is...<3 i love it...<333

You know Merlin's wound is on his top shoulder, so when Merlin was touching his hand to his heart, he was completely speechless of arthurs compliment <3 awww soo cute!!
