i agree with LH the hylian shield crouching shud deal with projectiles. it seems gimmicky but its actually really effective. j666 still rules tho. for someone with such flawless recovery, pit should die easier IMO, a spin attack or Fsmash at 140 should easily take him down but it doesnt..

I think the only reason Link lost is due to the stage. It limits most of his skills and techniques.

Pit user just grabs shoots arrows till links weak then smash attacks, it's not like there is any skill in arrow spaming and grab spamming

man it seems stupid that theyd go to all this trouble to balance characters then give pit amazing projectiles, perfect recovery, 2 reflecting moves, a good grab, decent weight, minimum lag on his smashes and some good killing moves. its ridiculous when link spot dodges an attack at 3.51 but pit immediately grabs him because his attack has less lag than a spot doddge? pit reeks of broken but i guess ill needa try him out before im convinced.

you can't really chain grab with pit but his arrow spam is rape

in some places but stronger in others. it seems his nair and downb are weaker but his f-air is faster and his bombs/arrows are stronger/faster. also characters tend to survive longer in general now

Well Link's dair was kind of overpowered (who am i to say that as i played with fox. lol) but his ^b was WAAAAYYY to cheap.

True that ^b was a fox combo breaker lol. I feel sorry for Link though. He needs a kill move. The bombs can kill in sudden death but those aren't particularly hard to dodge.

His current kill moves aren't quick enough. At least I don't think so. I used to second link in melee.

His F Smash has shown no problems finishing off enemies anytime they connect, and they connect not particularly unoften. Not to mention his Up Smash which can do a number on you and gives little to no chance DI (especially compared to Melee).
