Nope. Ok dsi isn't for pussies, despite the fact that pokemon sold millions and gta, an m rated game, possibly the best game on ds, sold awfully.
If I must give points to why I think this game is bad:
animation is choppy and very basic, combat looks very loose and unsatisfying, the visual effects are a disaster, the level design looks very linear and rather uninteresting and the overall gameplay just looks very simplistic and uninspired.
Oh and as for the library of the two systems. It is not a fact that the ds's library is amazing. It is a fact that it's large but certainly not amazing.
When the ds gets ports of superior systems' games they are always watered down to the maximum. The exclusive games can be good but most are just regurgited versions of typical first party nintendo games (mario, mario, mario) but the other exclusives, with only a few exceptions, are very simplistic games with very basic gameplay.
And it seems that ds owners ALWAYS seem to overrate their games no matter how good or bad they are.
Take Harry Potter 6 for an example. The same game on psp and ds. Psp owners ratings of the psp version came to an average of 3.5/10 which is close to what critics rated it.
Ds owners rated the ds version 7.5/10.
Due to this happening with most cross plats, I really cannot ever take ds fanboys seriously when they claim a ds game is good.

I have a psp, and some of the games are genuinely a lot of fun, but over-all, most games I have played were miserable failures, and the system itself is trash. Seriously, iI think 90% of all psp games are horrible, horrible games. Im not saying the DS has tons of great games either, its just that the DS has a lot more "good" games. In my experience its gaems are more consistently good. The psp is hit and miss (a lot of miss). I just also happen to think that the psp is less durable, and in general the ds is better.

I think ds games are consistantly of the same sort of standard but imo, that standard is very low. No wonder ds owners overrate their games.
As for durability, I've honestly seen more people who's ds hinges snapped than people having problems in general with their psp's.
In fact, one of my friends's ds screen got smashed even when the ds lid was closed and the ds was in a protective case! lol I don't know HOW that happened but its pretty funny.
I also had my psp for 3 years before it broke but that was due to brute force. Throughout those years it had put up with being dropped from tall places onto hard surfaces without a scratch.
I have had a DS and PsP for the same amount of time. My DS is fine, And I throw it around, A LOT. My PsP was always kept in a case, and has: A broken thumbstick, broken buttons, loose screen, broken disc slot. And your point of the DS games being of lower quality is valid, sometimes. There are a lot of DS games that are just cheap little pick up and play things but they cost about $20. PsP games are usually $40-$50. Also, nintendo really supports the DS, Sony left the PsP by the wayside.
Err, ok then. That's sort of what I meant but I meant in general that even the hyped up ds games, the ones which are from a popular series tend to be completely changed, eg: Legend Of Zelda started as a top down game and over time it improved and became a fully 3D, free view sort of game with solid animation but on ds it goes back to being top down.

Yes, let's look back a LOT. I mentioned how the level of quality of this game's animation is poor. The physics are awful (the creature doesn't even fall, it just dissolves), the actual level design is pretty bare and uninteresting, etc.

I played most of those books, including the Joe Dever's Lone Wolf series.
Though, to be frank, I never quite obeyed the combat rules, I just wanted to see the story unfolding on and on. Good memories.

Nope. Ok dsi isn't for pussies, despite the fact that pokemon sold millions and gta, an m rated game, possibly the best game on ds, sold awfully.
If I must give points to why I think this game is bad:
animation is choppy and very basic, combat looks very loose and unsatisfying, the visual effects are a disaster, the level design looks very linear and rather uninteresting and the overall gameplay just looks very simplistic and uninspired.

Oh and as for the library of the two systems. It is not a fact that the ds's library is amazing. It is a fact that it's large but certainly not amazing.
When the ds gets ports of superior systems' games they are always watered down to the maximum. The exclusive games can be good but most are just regurgited versions of typical first party nintendo games (mario, mario, mario) but the other exclusives, with only a few exceptions, are very simplistic games with very basic gameplay.

And it seems that ds owners ALWAYS seem to overrate their games no matter how good or bad they are.
Take Harry Potter 6 for an example. The same game on psp and ds. Psp owners ratings of the psp version came to an average of 3.5/10 which is close to what critics rated it.
Ds owners rated the ds version 7.5/10.
Due to this happening with most cross plats, I really cannot ever take ds fanboys seriously when they claim a ds game is good.

I have a psp, and some of the games are genuinely a lot of fun, but over-all, most games I have played were miserable failures, and the system itself is trash. Don't get me wrong, some of my favorite portable games are ON the PsP, but it just doesn't work as well.

Seriously, iI think 90% of all psp games are horrible, horrible games. Im not saying the DS has tons of great games either, its just that the DS has a lot more "good" games. In my experience its gaems are more consistently good. The psp is hit and miss (a lot of miss). I just also happen to think that the psp is less durable, and in general the ds is better.

As for durability, I've honestly seen more people who's ds hinges snapped than people having problems in general with their psp's.
In fact, one of my friends's ds screen got smashed even when the ds lid was closed and the ds was in a protective case! lol I don't know HOW that happened but its pretty funny.
I also had my psp for 3 years before it broke but that was due to brute force. Throughout those years it had put up with being dropped from tall places onto hard surfaces without a scratch.

I have had a DS and PsP for the same amount of time. My DS is fine, And I throw it around, A LOT. My PsP was always kept in a case, and has: A broken thumbstick, broken buttons, loose screen, broken disc slot. And your point of the DS games being of lower quality is valid, sometimes. There are a lot of DS games that are just cheap little pick up and play things but they cost about $20. PsP games are usually $40-$50. Also, nintendo really supports the DS, Sony left the PsP by the wayside.

That's sort of what I meant but I meant in general that even the hyped up ds games, the ones which are from a popular series tend to be completely changed, eg: Legend Of Zelda started as a top down game and over time it improved and became a fully 3D, free view sort of game with solid animation but on ds it goes back to being top down.

Yes, let's look back a LOT. I mentioned how the level of quality of this game's animation is poor. The physics are awful (the creature doesn't even fall, it just dissolves), the actual level design is pretty bare and uninteresting, etc.
