@Juinor Hiya there Juinor, I would love to do that for you, but unfortunatley I don't have the game installed anymore, and I can't remeber how to do it myself!! If I instal it again and play around, I'll get back to you! :)
i won't private message you but i can tell you like this. Firstly you will need a recorder like fraps.
To get started, make a map, then you go on a section of the map editor called triggers, then set up a camera trigger. It is a lot harder than it seems, and i would like to help you more, but its really something you need to learn for yourself. But a person who has simple tutorials is Megaofio
ya also expierment around with triggers (like moving one army from one spot to another which is called army movie) before doing camera. my favorite trigger is : Camer face because you can view battles at different angles. hope that helps too
sorry for being so slow in replying to this - but i don't know how to replace the low poly ones with the ones used for cinematics. But i wish I did. If you do find them - please let me know! :)
haha - i doubt i would find it before you if you've been doing it for so long, but correct me if i'm wrong - isn't there a box you can click attack mode or run mode or something like that??
maybe some units just aren't programmed to run? :/
well done! it is exactly how i started out a year ago! now more time and effort and you'll be well on your way to make cinematics as well as mine!!!!11!!11!!111!!
Is this all the same cinematic on one run or did yo record multiple cinematics, multiple is easier cause if you make clip of almost 2 minutes you need many triggers and it will cause triggers not to fire
The are small cinematics put together in moviemaker, the first scene of the camp is one, then the one of the natives in the woods, and the pistolero was a second. Finally the thrid was the city part. :)
Pretty good for a first timer well done

i want to make a cinematic with AOE but i wish i could find some high res textures for the units or something
they look too blocky up close except for the ones that they used in the ingame cinematics
If anybody knows how to make high res textures for the units in asian dynasties let me know
