Well, Katherine is a very good actress, but I never realised before. 'Cause she's playing the role of unkind Harriet... But I read that she was very nice to all the children. In later seasons, you can see that it is more Katherine and less Harriet she plays.

I so enjoyed Katherine In LHOTP. I also enjoyed how her character grew from a mean, spiteful, hate-filled witch; to one who was willing to change, to allow love into her heart. One who I always hoped would find redemption, and to keep love, light, and laughter inside. She began to find the redemption by going with the blind children in their cross-country trek to a new home. How she saw the true kindness of spirit in a little blind child's eyes and heart. I cried when she found it!!

@aramax1001 I think Ms. Macgregor is much better then that Mrs Olsen role. On You Tube I have seen her pre LHOTP roles. She can definitely portray strong minded liberated women. Now thinking they should have catsed her as Jessica Fletcher as oppose to Angela Lansbury on Murder She Wrote.

Thnx for this video tribute. In real life Katherine has a great sense of humour and very kind and considerate. I guess that's how she played such a great comedy role on LHOTP. 'Harriet' got the most laughs over the years for sure!

Awesome video! I would so love to see more of Katherine (Scottie, as she is sometimes known), but she has hidden herself pretty well over the last 25 years. I want to be able to know who she is out of character. It's a shame that she hasn't made herself visible after lhotp.
