I don't think we should try to read much meaning into it intellectually. For me the video is intense and also a little sad. This sad ugly little creature continually repeating the same action as the world shudders and rattles. I can't explain why but I feel sorry for him but also conflicted for reacting to him being so nasty faced. I want to cry a little for him but his machinelike behavior subverts my empathy.

You know I was like "What the hell is this waste of time?" for the first minute and a half, but sitting through it, it actually got kind of intense for a minute, great expression of frustration, then it lost me again and went nowhere. I like the official video better
