@splatbubble thanks. :) me and smoov are buds. he's kind of the reason i got youtube recognition. when i asked his permission to do a prequel to his "rude awakening of optimus prime" video, it drew a lot of attention to my parodies and voiceover work. he voiced wheeljack in one episode of "Transformers: Unsolved Mysteries" as well. finally met him at BotCon this year. he's a really cool guy.

@splatbubble back when this video was made "the R word" was not considered offensive. when i was a kid, we used that word in reference to something that was silly or goofy not mentally handicapped. it was not intended to be offensive. i have a special needs child and i'm much more careful about using that word now. there's a big push in hollywood to ban the use of that word. i'm often guilty of using "gay" the same way but in reference to something "girly." but now it's not PC to use either.

@3link1 thanks for the "constructive criticism" but seeing as you're only examining the only two smoov-related videos i ever made, i have to assume you're a "smoov-only" fan who hates all things non-smoov. it's a parody of a parody and was deliberately made the way it is. you are watching the kid-friendly public version. the original was something i made just for smoov and some closed friends and he supported making it public.

Not bad jon3.0 but I'm not sure doing a tribute to Smoov (as awesome as he is) is the best thing to do. He's obviously an influence on some of your videos but I think your work is best when you do your own thing. The funniest parts for me in this and "another rude awakening" were when other transformers universes were mentioned such as buster and sam in this one. I think thats what separates you and Smoov You're knowledge of all transfomers media is great and you should focus on that IMO.

@swooperd ...but a tribute to a great guy and friend of mine doesn't hurt anything either. i don't know how much more i know about transformers than he does, but i love pointing out obvious flaws in any of the tf universes. it's just a script idea i had a long time ago and didn't really fit in any other way that i do videos and i just happened to hit 1000 subscribers so i figured what the heck.

I ran it by the doc who was honored to have me post it as long as everyone understood that I did it WITH his permission. Thanks, man. The script was one I thought of a long time ago but I don't really do straight mash-ups and I thought it would be funny as one of Swainy's TF: Badly Animated stop-motions but there was so much involvement by the human characters, I didn't think it would work. I just kept thinking "This would make a great SMOOV video." He had said a long time ago that would love to hear me doing his voices and with his permission, this is what came from it. :) confusin' ain't it? Lol!

He gave me the best compliment I've ver gotten from a cartoon VA... he said it was the best Cullen impression he'd ever heard. He did RID Prime for me. I never really got into the show, but it was still a really cool voice in itself. He even invitied me to hang out with him at his next convention. :)
