My high school physics instructor was there (I'm class of '03 if you're trying to get a grasp on my age). He was a high school senior at the time working the Riverport concession stands... basically he said that all the concessions people tooke\ a lot of heat for the riot... accused of serving alcohol without carding... but he also said most of that was bull... probably just the higher ups trying to cover their arses.

He gave them 5 seconds to get to the fan and jumped in the crowd. The show wasn't ruined by the fan, it was ruined because Axl was being a bitch.
