An argument could be made that it was 19 catches, as the ball hits the hand, bounces out, then hits the floor after every other ball is caught. But no matter what some people* have claimed, the run ends when an object that is meant to be caught isn't, not when it hits the ground.

Yeah, it's a flash. To officially qualify as juggling you have catch the balls twice as many times as the number of balls. But for passing I think it's probably quadruple the number of balls considering there's two people.

That's pretty cool guys! But, if you were to get technical about it, you only did half of a flash. A qualify would be the number of objects multiplied by the number of hands you are using. And a flash, you would need to catch half of that number. It still looks really cool, but I personally don't think it counts for a world record. Even though it is the most amount passed.

@DougSayers A flash is the number of balls (each ball is thrown and not re-thrown). A qualify is the number of balls multiplied by the number of hands. So in this case a flash is 1/4 of a qualify.
