  • Del tells it how it is.

  • @colbertnation1776 ur not proving anything. You're trying to say eminem hasn't been around for as long but he has. ... It's not a big deal

  • @colbertnation1776 why you mad bruh

  • @colbertnation1776 you're retarded... that doesn't mean he wasn't not rapping just because he wasn't well known. He was fucking 14.

  • Hahaha I have never been chillin listening to Hiero and thought, "this sounds like eminem"

  • Actually, eminem has been rapping since he was 14, which would mean he started in the mid 80's. I don't see the big deal, it seems like you don't like eminem--which is fine, however, it's not a diss if they sound a little bit alike.

  • Comment removed

  • @colbertnation1776 when em was younger..

  • @PaleGoldLizard their voices do sound similiar lol

  • IM EATING A CAN OF DEL-MONTE MIXED FRUIT RIGHT NOW

  • DAMN this is the shit

  • @PaleGoldLizard It's not as good as Eminem

  • @borntoend94

Your taste in music isn't as good as hieroglyphics.

  • @RainJetSprinklers You're right; it's better.

  • @borntoend94 oh HELL NO

  • i'll put a dot on yo head if you think this is eminem.......no way bud it's Ope! fo sho.

  • @PaleGoldLizard pfft why the first guy has similiar flow but whats wrong with comparing them

  • Real Hip-Hop !! Fan from France

  • You could say this is the most under rated song of all time..

  • @xx7clintone I would say, Here for you - Oliver Hart, shitttttts dank

  • @LibertyNeedsRestorin For sure my man, you could actually add almost every Eyedea song to that list.

  • @xx7clintone Agreed bro, most of underground hip hop is these days, currently listening to evolution - Kristoff Krane, has under 1000 views.. crazy

  • @xx7clintone Eyedea RIP

  • reminds me of high school love this song.

  • real G's right here.

  • @PaleGoldLizard

your a fagget dude''' stop bringing eminem to hiero seriously '''' you like eminem suck his cock dont even compare or bring his name dumbass u just a dumb fuck right???? let me guess u bring justin bieber 2 ?? fag

  • @blackoil911

    Dumbass lol

He would kick someones ass for comparing dick licker eminem to hiero.

  • IM TRYIN TO GET INTO HIERO AND TRYIN TO FIND SONGS. WHAT ARE MORE SONGS THAT ARE DOPE AS THIS?!?!!!?

  • @Miike92 Deltron 3030, the whole thing

  • Im glad my dad would play this when i was about 8, instead of repetitive annoying songs everybody listens to. it makes no sense.

  • @Pandabearmadness Yeah i think i might have found the group you were looking. "Sunnmoon Sekt".

  • The Dream Team!!

  • What are the most classic Hieroglyphics related albums?

  • @FINbball Try Souls of Mischief : Trilogy Conflict, Climax, Resolution. Dope album. HIERO fo LIFE!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @mistahmeaner its from 2000

  • @mistahmeaner ok thanks

  • @FINbball 3rd Eye Vision's their landmark album, but Souls of Mischief's 93 til Infinity is also good. you really cant go wrong picking anything out of Del's catalogue really, though i think Deltron 3030 and Both Sides of the Brain are his best. Over Time is actually a good compilation album of them if youre interested in remixes and b-sides and what not

  • @PaleGoldLizard eminems sick dude, i mean i love underground but em's probably the sickest mainstream rapper out there...

  • this is definatly before my time but i still love it cus the music of my time lacks talent taste and intrest

  • del rips it up

  • that white boy on sucka free city was blowin some tree to this shit!

  • Heiroglyphics, Jurassic 5, Charli 2na, Sweatshop Union, Beatnuts, Del tha funkee homosapien, Macklemore, Loot Pack, Factor, Blue Scholars, Atmosphere, Dumbfoundead, Wax & Herbal T, Brother Ali, Big L, Bk-one, Language Arts Crew, Mad Child, Pharcyde, Living Legends, Eyedea & Abilities, Gorillaz, Gift of Gab, Murs & Slug, Rappin 4 Tay, A Tribe Called Quest, Sandpeople, Brother Ali, Awol One, Apathy, Aceyalone, Unknown Prophets, DL Incognito, Rhymefest, Pharoahe Monch; Here's My Taste, Whats Yours?

  • @strongbeach123 I have over 75% of the artists mentioned in my music library, though I noticed you said brother ali twice.

  • @JunkMailArt Right on dude. i realized that i said brother ali twice after i freshly posted it 6 months ago haha. oh well he deserves the honourable mention, such a good artist!

  • @strongbeach123 forgive me if you sound a bit pompous, almost every single artist you named is either abstract, underground or both. there's nothing wrong with commercial rap, and your post wouldnt be an issue except you left out great rappers (that happen to be even slightly commercial) like Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Nas, Rakim, Notorious B.I.G., Onyx, Ice Cube, OutKast, Big Pun, Canibus. no offense, but i think listening to nothing but "backpack" rap doesnt reflect true hip hop

  • @AlexLoeher i get your point, but saying there's nothing wrong with commercial rap is just offensive.... it (the term) is an oxymoron, hip hop by nature is anti-commercial, just like punk rock. i say down with the corporate formula, empty-v, top 40, bling-jiggy, club dancefloor pop hop. the artists you named(with the exception of biggie) didn't start out with the intent of crossing over, the masses crossed over to them. the ones that start off wack & are CALLED hip hop(waynus, drake) must die.

  • @jdbankshot i think most rappers want to have some form of commercial success. Onyx enlisted Jam Master Jay for instance. Big Pun wanted crossover appeal, achieved it, then sought more. the point here is commercial is not = wack. are rappers that sacrifice substance for commercial appeal disrespectful? absolutely. but hip hop requires balance. my least favorite mcs are ones that eschew traditional rapping and spit anti-commercial to the point of letting their craft suffer (ie El-P, Vordul Mega)

  • @AlexLoeher very well put. i commend you on being one of the more articulate folks i've come across on ytube. what i find frustrating is the artists with obvious talent that sorta morph into, or begin as, entertainers rather than true artists. it's a fine line, i know, but WHY do some feel that pull to appeal to the type of people that woulnd't like the "harder" stuff made by the same artist? chicks & jocks & mallrats that need an "r&b" hook....i'm public enemy & krs-one & rakim all the way.

  • @AlexLoeher i'm pretty sure we're on the same page, generally. i think a new term for a certain genre wouldn't hurt... pop hop or something like that, cuz i'm sick of folks refering to the wack eyed cheese or soulja toy as hip hop. pun was sick on the mic, but alot of "backpackers" grumble about his softer, crossover attempts, & imo, rightfully so. all the "abstract" artists mentioned above, if this was 1989 or so, would be as big as kane, de la, g rap, krs , ice-t, etc. were back then.

  • @jdbankshot Wack eyed cheese! I like that! I've been running with WILL.I.AM.A.SELLOUT to any who will listen, but wack eyed cheese is most appropriate!! Yeah Hip Pop. Pop Hop, or just plain pop. Even just Rap would be fine if dumbasses weren't unable to seperate it from Hip Hop. I was 1 of the Pun grumblers, & I understand that an artist has to eat. My issue is when u achieve a certain status u can dictate the market therefore the trends. Instead they roll over and stick their arses out

  • @jdbankshot exactly thats what im saying: Kane, De La and KRS were commercial, its just they werent wack. rappers these days put being commercial over quality and so then it suffers. so technically, commercial rappers are usually poor, but thats cause of independently being wack, but not being commercial. i have no problem with commercial as long its bumpin. Soulja Boy: hell naw. Pun on Still Not a Player: hell yea

oh and i think the term youre looking for is R&B: rap and bullshit

  • @strongbeach123 looking at your comment you really listen to underground rap. i was hoping you mite be able the name of a rap group i'm trying to figure there name out. it was like 10 years ago and i was at a rave in oakland and they had a hip hop room where this group from oakland called sun moon sec or somthing that sounded like that. and they rapped about taking muschrooms and getting really fucked up. do you have any idea who i'm talking about

  • @strongbeach123 shit a lot of people i havent heard of from there, which ones are good hip hop artists that are less known

  • @kingtoby3 Its hard to say. All of these artists you can find on youtube. Im not sure exactly what you will like. I hate picking favourites haha. Macklemore, is a good one. I came across him on youtube. Dumbfoundead too. He is blowin' up right now. Another one is Factor (good 2 songs are) "famous days, empty nights", "I cant put my finger on it". Language Arts Crew - Old Kids. Chali 2na - Comin Thru. I dont know dude i hope you search most of these theres so many good artists and songs in there

  • @strongbeach123 im likin it especially a tribe called quest! but one thing..... yall forgot Mac dre n Nickatinaaaaa <3

  • @420friendlyyyy Lol Amen to that. Haha :)

  • @strongbeach123 Great taste

  • @strongbeach123 can I hug you?

  • @strongbeach123 cmon man you for got mos def lol

  • @P0Pc0rn67 Yup. i left out the more popular artist because everyone should know who they are already..You can understand. I'm trying to look past those more known artists; And find talented less known. Not saying that everyone on list haven't made a splash in their careers because a few have.

  • @strongbeach123 Take out Mackelmore and were good

Im from seattle and he thinks hes hood here

    hes not!

  • @thekghrkids LOL haha good stuff! I like to heard the inside stories. Its a tough gig finding support in your home city. I laugh at the rap artists in my city too. Get a little popularity and it goes to the head(typical). I like his music but once i saw the guy i kinda laughed myself.

  • @strongbeach123 Yeah he dresses like a transexual and most of is songs are similar, he sorta talks with a flow over his beat. I don't know really but hes just not my kind of music hahaha.

  • @PaleGoldLizard you do know that his first 2 albums are 2 of the greatest albums ever made? and his third one was a classic as well. saying this sounds like em should be taken as a compliment

  • Roly Kovac's Bottle Ghost

    Btw dope track

  • @DAHoodRida nerd

  • @DAHoodRida its just you man

  • @DAHoodRida Go do your research son, hieroglyphics predate Eminem by almost a whole DECADE..... so if you recognise Eminem-esque type flows, then you better acknowledge the sources Em derived his from growing up. RESEARCH YOUNGSTERS!!!

  • @JayGriffinblaze YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you sound like me.... fuckin a, these kids today..... i sound like parents........ paradox headache coming right up. anyway, well said dude, nice to see i'm not alone. P.E.ace from a pissed but hopeful 35yr old montreal hip hop head.

  • @jdbankshot lol, I'm a year older, and a Brit, and we got our commercial infection about 5/6yrs ago with that poor man's garage mc music called Grime, meant to 'represent the sound of urban london', to the point where our Hip Hopscene is now restricted to specialised clubs. YOu are MOST DEFINITELY NOT alone - but unfortunately the real heads I find are those around our age. People under 27 (being generous) just aren't interested & like those in thematrix will fight to tell u about our culture!

  • @JayGriffinblaze Im actually proud to be 30. I had the privilage to grow up in the best hip hop era. These young cats will never understand man. Peace

  • yo ive been a hiero fan to the fullest since 3rd eye vision but check it.... these dudes are part of the illuminati or agenda. its blatantly put in their music. "Never underestimate the power of illusion we usin" "Thug it out like the United SNAKES", "See I know things they told kings" "Emperors who were meant to be entered into the end of the world". Not to mention the fuckin snake hissing the entire fuckin song! doesnt make a difference tho ill still bump their shit
