  • goodbye blow-up doll ? Oo

  • 3D technology wasn't this advanced in 2007, let alone now. It's a 2D projection.

  • well hello 240p

  • "Martin is that you?" Nope! Its Chuck Testa.

  • Ok, it's over 4 years later.... WTF GUYS WHERE'S THIS TECH NOW???

  • @Mark37251 this technology exists and is used across the globe to lower emissions and carbon footprints for companies everywhere.

  • @laurening Haven't seen it available for the public yet nor have I seen any modern advances on the technology

  • i know he did not just say "Star Trak"....

  • telepresence? I own a projector too... wooo.........

  • 2007??

  • this shit just looks like a 2d projection...

  • Does anyone have a general idea of how it's working?

  • mmh... beer.

  • What does the person who is the hologram see?

  • 2:29 NWO... this is how the elite meet .... fucking illumitati scum

  • @toie323 we dont need any conspiracy fag in youtube. fk off please.

  • this is as bad as hell and has nothing to do with startrek

  • Comment removed

  • wicked man wicked ! ( even at 240p ! )

  • gimme. now.

  • wow, watch video about hologram technology in shitty 240p that is the future lol

  • I'm sorry but this is definitely not better than the "beam me up scotty". It is cool but it doesn't even compare to transporting a human body.

  • What's special about that? This is just a guy filmed somewhere else and then put on screen (or projector). I can do this with my webcam, too.

This ain't a real 3D hologram, is it?

  • imagine to put some famouse sexy lady...maybe naked too...hahaha

  • look to the right its the edge of the window hes recording lol

  • he said star track

  • 0:12, "exciting things about India?"

Fuck off you white man bastard, cheap labour for you and your corp you cunt. And yes more corps are bringing their 2nd and 3rd offices to India because we value education, not like you western bastards, who have all the opportunities in the world and are still fucking failures. Take your bastard white man companies out of India, we'll make our own economy. And that bitch of a Queen Elizabeth give us back our diamond. We'll feed our own 1.2 billion.

  • thats retarded.... theres a black screen and a projector :P

  • Computer activate EMH... Doctors visting patients in their homes? "Oh sorry doctor the house is a mess... so turn my head and cough right? What am I feeling for again?" Not much use if a doc cant physically get hands on.

  • This is all the work of the devil...

  • is this in 2d or 3d? what does the presenter see?

  • @bucasas 3D

  • What the hells star track?

  • @snowbordercam99 star trek. he has an accent

  • @snowbordercam99 -----this guy doesn't know about star track........

  • this is my uncle MARTHIN DE BEER

  • @JA3488

    sounds very dutch :P

  • He's asked how the stuff works and he spews corporate marketingspeak instead. Typical.

  • @perfectionbox he'll f*cking poke you back.. duhhh

  • Another Star Trek dream comes to life.

    Live long and prosper. =/\=

  • @ all those dont belive or spoke against this.

This is real and its really amazing. I can tell this since I am a Cisco employee and Now a days we are using this in our office for our meetings with mngr and other team mates who is working in US from here in India.

Also its entirely different video conference. Its like you will feel like all members are sitting round a conf table. Most imp is , you can have eye contact with each other which is not there in normal video conf.

  • @bobinbobby Can you make their stock go up for me? :)

  • @BucketheadLS1 I didnt get you

  • @bobinbobby Cisco stock has underperformed lately and I need it above $20.

  • would the hologram still show on the cameras of the people using flashes?

  • @Nonplusser I would assume the hologram is just brighter then the flash. I think that's why they used that black back drop too. The flashes can't reflect that well.

  • This is not news. The global elite will be using this technology to deceive the masses!

  • Star TREK Motherfucker TREK not Track

  • @TEHTYMEKITTEH1 Did some one upset a Tracker? lmao, I get the same way with the word nuclear. its not nucular...

  • this is deception!! do not trust these guys!! They are the devils slaves....

  • is this real?

  • annoying cunt in the background!

  • .....And so the future begins today

  • @TheBrandRhino you mean about 4 years ago, lol. This didn't come out last week ;)

  • @rkfaithfulblade does it matter ? my point is still valid

  • Cisco's telepresence can be highly overpriced. There are cheaper solutions out there that work just as well

  • @VideoConferencingGuy there are many benefits to telepresence. in addition to quality of service advantages, telepresence has the potential to bring people, desktops, ideas, and companies together in a way that is not only intuitive and collaborative, but also in a way that reflects the direction in which global business is truly headed

  • whats with the scripted hand motions?

  • i dont want to know how much it will cost when you will use it for yourself for a day :D

sorry for my bad english i am german

  • @fulumush3000 hey wassup i love german people hit me up

  • proud of being part of cisco :)

  • this is global bull shit!!!!!!!!!!

  • F*CKING POKE HIM! I want to see what happens! (Thumbs up?)

  • really really awesome job....by cisco

  • ITS' REAL! Why doesn't the world know about this yet?!

  • Thats pretty impressive. Ironically, I feel we were a little slow about developing this type of tech.

  • @Tucomen yes indeed, and i dont know why, it is just like electric cars

  • south west airline is gona fail....

  • It sounds to me like he is saying Star Track instead of Star Trek.

  • @9900997253

    uauauaua....I was just kidding...

To do this kind of video it must need a LOOOT of bandwidth...

  • Will this tecnology run over Frame Relay??? I have a circuit of 128k, can I use this???

  • @vinicin16 Dude it required 11mbps connection for a single screen TP and for this kind of demo we need around 50mbps...

  • (1) At Cisco Portugal they said 22Mb/s total (3000)

I've the chance of experiencing the 3000 at the Cisco HQ in Portugal (they have installed 3000 in all Cisco HQ around the world), we were videoconferencing with a guy in Brussels and other in the US.

The Brussels was awesome, I've never thought this was possible or was like this. No noticeable latency whatsoever. The image was crisp.

But the US... Humm, the lag was indeed noticeable (you cannot overcome distances,

  • (2) overcome distances, from Portugal to Cisco HQ in silicon Valley it's like 200ms of latency, and lots of hops in the way. And Brussels the latency is around 35/40ms max.

If the latency is less than 150ms, it's ok, but more than that... Hum....

  • Frame Relay? Are you kidding? Of course not.

This technology needs at least 10Mb/s per monitor (symmetric), which means you'll need a FTTx connection at least.

But if you can afford the unit cost (around 125k for mid range), you'll surely have the money for that kind of connection.

    Kind regards.

  • @clos19851 live webcam ;)

  • No Hoax. While they're using the lighting very creatively, the Telepresence is life-size HD. They're usually set up in 3s side by side with two people on each screen. You will NEVER go back to Polycom videoconferencing ever again. I have four sites globally with TP and the rooms are fully booked for all common work hours.

Every room is set up with 1/2 desks and match chairs so it appears you are all sitting at the same table. With our travel savings, more are in budget for 2010.

  • Someone mentioned specs - each screen runs at 15Mb so a full DS3 (45Mb) is need for the 3 screens. We run the three (dedicated) DS3s over our MPLS cloud in a triangle. The 4th TP unit is over site-site fiber.

  • what an obvious hoax. researchers at usc have developed a real 3d moving hologram using spinning mirrors. this is just a camera trick.

  • Amazing shit.

  • "Star Track"

  • By the way, very cool technology here. Hope it becomes efficient enough for general public application eventually.

  • damn c00l , im very happy to be a new cisco employee

  • So now Cisco systems is behind 9/11. You conspiracy freaks really make me laugh. Go take your pills...

  • gooooogle bluebeam, haarp and u will learn .... sorry about my bad english...

    PAX2ALL

  • wait.. you're calling him delusional / a conspiracy freak etc., but you have a video that attempts to contradict mainstream belief that african americans are responsible for such novel inventions like traffic lights, peanut butter, etc.. you're stupid.. the other guy is naive too for thinking cisco is responsible for 9/11, and you're naive for being a hypocrite and suggesting 99.9% of the population believes in the official 9/11 story.

  • Yes, I'm the idiot! My bad! You got me! You're deductions and insights are just GENIUS! I bow to you so graciously!

  • Woah there.. No need for that kind of sarcasm, tough guy. Are you frothing at the mouth in real life? Are you punching your monitor because you can't articulate what you want over the internets? Grammar time! The proper use of the word 'your': "Your book is on the table.". The proper use of the word 'you're': "I don't know what you're talking about.". I hope that clears things up for you.

  • My god, I've made a "Your/You're" switch? Impossible! You see, I'm the guy who calls people out on their typographical errors, when I've run out of anything substantial with which to reply. Now then, let's get back to your original, and similarly brainless comment:

It's wrong of me to condemn one conspiracy while exposing another? Where's your logic? You're basically saying that, since belief in a conspiracy is more a condition of the psyche, that one must believe "all" conspiracies?

  • uh.. what.. okay, let's get a recap of what you said earlier: "My bad! You got me! You're deductions and insights are just GENIUS! I bow to you so graciously! ". yeah, nice sarcasm there, and it's full of substance too.. and it's definitely not brainless either. see, I'm not saying any of that. i'm saying that you're insulting him for his belief in a particular conspiracy, and that because he believes in a conspiracy theory, he needs medication. hope it doesn't go over your head again.

  • And I'm saying that if you believe in the 9/11 conspiracy, that you need medication. I hope that reaches your medulla oblongata.

  • @Ultranothing

What, you don't believe that a coup is possible due to the false flag attack? Dude, go read some history, it's as old as the hills and the public generally fall for it hook line & sinker.

Who burned the reichstag? Was it an anarchist or a communist do you suppose?

The new parliament hall had half the seats. An angry majority voted for the massive revision of the german republic to support new legal features & govt. powers. Those powers got used.

  • And you're about half right. Usually, an individual who believes fervently in one or more conspiracy theories is apt to believe in others, due to an obsessive compulsion to believe, prove, or re-tell a conspiracy because of paranoia, denial, schizophrenia, "mean world" syndrome, etc.

The difference between the 9/11 "conspiracy" and my "Black Invention Myths Exposed" video is that my observations are rooted in simple facts and proven logically, with hard evidence to back it up.

  • Nobody is nasty, no, of course not.

Stalin used to run his political dissidents to the gulag in prison vans disguised as food trucks,

Look at colonialism. opium wars, boer war. Look at the spanish inquisition. Look at the nazis. Look at WW1. Look at the congo. Rwanda. Gaza. Kurdistan. Bosnia. Chile. Nicaragua. Attilla. Genghis. 1st chinese emperor. Sharon.

We're predators dude. Check the teeth.

  • While the 9/11 "conspiracy" is completely and totally ridiculous. If you believe in it, then yes, I believe you need to take a series of pills for that.

  • yeah man, get your pills from bayer and you're taking IG Farben's meds. Shut you up very nice.

Those guys went down at nuremberg for a serious stretch. Then went back to their jobs running transnationals.

Seriously dude, the incredulous belief that to hold exclusive power you don't have to be ruthless, I think history will bear out an argument to the contrary. Only a brute would wish for exclusive power, that's the simple catch.

  • Ultranothing...you have no idea what a fool you are.

  • You're funny.

  • Amazing,

  • i agrre with..Now you all know how they pulled offff 9/11. !!!

Why else do you think they haven't released the black boxes???

Demolition explosives, and one very big illusion.!!!! --> There were none!!!Why else did they find now wreckage???? There wasn't ANY!!!!

  • One small problem with this theory. What happened to all the family members who were killed on the flights. They still haven't come home.

  • look... it´s easy 2 understud... any government kills her onw people... watch fema coffins, watch FLUOR in drinkwater and other utilities so this few people care nothing... for them so see also the 3000 people IN the towers, watch the NYSE the quotes and PUTbuds on that day... i think u have 2 learn some... see ma channel.... PAX2ALL

  • Ohhh, so now THIS is your explanation for how "they" pulled off 9/11. They used holograms. Of course! How has the other 99.9% of the population been so naive!?

    Fucking idiot..

  • hi ultra, do u work by cisco??? i'm NOT say that cisco it pulled down!!! u dummy!!! its only an old video 2 show whats posible with strong electronic things... i worked 4 SIEMENS and beild very big project's in the world so i have also some knowledge... PAX2ALL

  • Being the janitor as Siemens doesn't qualify you for anything. Keep your head down, and mop.

  • ok i c u are an NWO son of a bitch ok np... get our vaccine!!! fucking wanker

  • Oh man..yeah! I'm a New World Order SONOFABITCH! HAHAHA! Wow...you're too funny, pal...

  • hahahhahahahaha, I suspect that the dude is actually being sarcastic LOL.

However cisco's various DARPA connections would seem to have inflamed the discussions to the point where people are taking this seriously? Well funny people, good trolling all round haha. Seriously silly

  • Now you know how they pulled off 9/11. Demolition explosives, and one big illusion. Why else do you think they haven't released the black boxes? There were none! Why else did they find now wreckage? There wasn't ANY!!!!

  • Cisco rules! Amazing!

  • Cisco will be SkyNet.

  • didn't virgin Record use this, 3D holograms?

  • iiiyes...

    user/DrBrainsurferCH#p/c/7DE3D38FE9C2FDF4/35/KZl_upiRAQ8

  • The cutting edge, loves this!

  • its voodoo

  • cisco is the future.

  • awesome!!.. but yeah the idea that 'reyknow' got below... even better... :)

  • He said, "Star Track"! That's what one of the 'Beauties' said on the "Beauty and the Geek" reality show. LOL. That aside, awesome technology. And they made De Beers taller than OB1, think of the possibilities! ;->

  • imagine porn w/ this

  • this all what u r thinking about???

    idiot

  • omg that would've been amazing!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA, that would be fuckin awesome man. simply divine

  • heck yes

  • its wank till death lol

  • You will see this kind of solutions sooner thatn you think!

    Trust me.

  • ya it willl be in the closest mall in the next 2 years :P

  • I bet the airlines hate this :)

  • @slarmas :)))))))

  • 2:10 - Martin, how did you did that? And the answer is a typical manager's buzzword-filled gibberish that does not answer the question at all.

  • India is going to rule the world in next 20 years

  • well the thing is that india has many hard working people (im an indian :P) but the only problem india has is living (electricity , water ,food ect .....) and that is all cause there arent any good leaders that care about those stuff

  • like hell it is

  • Wow! I would love to use one of these! I can't wait for the year (maybe in 20 yrs.) when these are used in most households everyday.

  • wow!

    hw duz tht work?

  • Thats crazy,

  • Seems even better than the Star Wars version of the telepresence.

  • "...think like Star Track." Duhh!

Not only is it "Star Trek", but this demo is actually more like Star Wars. And it's pretty cool. (Dig that South African accent)

  • Its amazing

  • yeah....it's for us to watch and rich basterds to play :-)

  • is this real?

  • Yes this is real.

Its amazing what the right hardware and software, configured correctly can deliver.

  • Especially also since it uses around 5-7Mbps Bandwidth to bring this to your eyes.

  • CNN "hologram" explanation (remove spaces from the link)

    tinyurl . com / 5kvsvg

  • this is gonna be in yankee stadium

  • What is "Star Track"?

This guy is killin' me. That's what toddlers call Star Trek.

  • That's what I meant with my "accent" comment.

  • What's wrong with his accent?

  • it has a desease called foreign

  • LOL!!!

  • For what it's worth this tech is being compared to CNN's Hologram use during the election. See Nov. 4th at tech crunch.

  • Did CNN actually have a hologram though? Or was it just TV only?

  • Pretty sure it was just on TV only.

  • TV only :P

  • Please state the nature of your technological emergency, lol. Seriously though this is freakin awesome, Robert Picardo should get one.

  • cool if this helped cisco employees and their families and they didnt have to travel so much.... hasnt helped our family..with such a technology why so much travel still going on in the states?

  • Virtual Fighting anyone?

    Only matter of time :]

  • I bet Cisco staff were Shitting themselves and pissing themselves laughing when the Dude didn't answer.

and also the fact that their CEO said 'Star Trek' incorrectly.

    Maggot..

    But riveting Tech..

  • For such an expensive technology they could have done white balance properly, so that both shirts were equally white and Marthin weren't so bluish.

  • But you have to admit that such clarity is much better than what was seen with CNN's coverage of the election.

  • Yes I like the cisco telepersonce very nice

  • what would happen if you touched it :O

  • who vote cisco for president? my bf do..

  • system specs please??!

    i need it badly

    thanks!

  • well system specs is not the deal ... internet speed(WAN)speed in the big deal ... when the speed of WAN is abt 100 MBps , then telepresence will be part of every one ...

ryt nw the LAN speed(ethernet which is abt 100MBps) enables the telepresence ,and this practised in the labs ...

hence wait for 4G communication system and then they ll let u know what specs u need ..

  • thank you,pavancreddi.

  • cisco is the umbrella corp

  • Awesome. Amazing how technology is evolving. This is how i love Tech and Science!

  • In an world of energy scarcity and Carbon Foorprint excess. Telepresence could be a extraoridinary way to save millions of unnecessary flight hours.

  • Amazing how technology progresses. Saw something similiar here also, under dve telepresense.

  • i read somewhere that ufo in the sky and

many other unbelievemble thinks are hologramms.

  • I'm buying some Cisco stock asap.

  • After 3 minutes of watching that exchange I noticed my eyes were just a little wider. Relative to where IP communications were just 5 or even 2 years ago, that's pretty damn impressive. I'm not quite a Cisco "fanboy" but I am a fan. As a customer, is Cisco a pain in the ass sometimes (full pop SmartNet contracts for simple OS upgrades). Feel free to name a large company - or any company, that isn't.

  • it's like star wars
