  • E sounded awesome.

  • Do you recommend the MicroKorg or MicroKorg XL?

  • Hey Guys, wanna do some Techno, Trance, and/or House Stuff, so saw this wonderful MicroKorg. Is this ready for to do some Trance sound (live too). Wanna do some crazy crossoverstuff called Trancecore. Mix between Metal and Trance like Asking Alexandria...

    Greets AK

  • is there any set-up required for the pitch and mod wheels? cause i just got one of these and they don't do anything. i already set the bend range for the pitch btw

  • Is this good for Prog Rock/Metal?

  • Whoa, you actually pronounce it "korg?" I was just saying K O R G

  • Hey one question.

Did you got this melody from somewere already at 0:29 ? If yes could you tell me the name of it? Thanks

  • Bro, between MicroKorg, MicroKorg XL and Korg R3, which one is better sound for funk and jazz music?

  • @tgfzsyfq

All three synths will give you great sounds for funk and jazz fusion stuff. I personally own and recommend the R3 because of it's awesome Radius sound engine and full-size keys, making it easy to play. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

  • I WANT IT!!!

  • Will my Gameboy work with this?

  • @deathacus

    Yes.

  • the vocoder sound freeze is nice :P i get one !!

  • Is there a bigger version of the microkorg keyboard ?

  • @HiyaMichael

You could check out the Korg R3...It's like a larger microKORG XL with full size keys. I actually own an R3 and I think it's awesome for all different types of synthesis. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

  • @HiyaMichael You can also do what I do and connect it to a full size 88 key MIDI keyboard via a single MIDI cable.

  • can i hook a minikp into this??

    please answer asap

  • how many notes can you play at once?

  • My god the end was just amazing and gave me chills :'D

  • Is there any way you can connect the microkorg to a mac using midi? Thanks.

  • those keys look tiny. can anyone who has it tell me if that makes it harder to play? is this worth buying?

  • @Dodobird133 Its brilliant. the small keys make it easier with one hand because you can reach different keys easier, but its annoying if you've got big fingers.

  • Can i connect a Microkorg to a guitar amplifier?

  • @PunkRockCovers

Sure! It would sound cleaner and fuller when plugged into a keyboard amp or full-range PA, but you might dig the gritty tone you'd get from a guitar amp. Just use any 1/4 inch cable to connect it. Thanks for watching!

  • @kraftmusic Maybe on a bass amp, it would sound way better ? With huge bass sounds ? :)

  • @zeLudoo

Yeah, a bass amp would handle the low end well. Big fat synth bass!

  • Question: Is the white microphone detachable? Personally when I'm not using it in the music I'd like it gone.

  • @zxTOOmuchSKILLxz

Yes, you can detach the vocoder mic when you're not using it.

  • So .. how affordable is 'affordable' ??

  • @armandmadewnus5 Like $400 affordable

  • @armandmadewnus5 400 bucks

  • can you record as midi?

  • does anyone know any good recording music software that could be used with the microkorg?

  • @TheTruthHasRisen You can use any recording program to record this.

  • @TheTruthHasRisen I know Adam Young from Owl City uses the microkorg with reason, and that's how he made fireflies along with other songs.

  • Estupendo :3

  • Stupendo <3 ^_^

  • This thing looks brilliant. does it have a Rhythm Sequencer?

  • can this be used with garageband? tanx :)

  • @musha336 yes, but this keyboard is more for it's sounds. You're probably looking for a midi controller keyboard. Basically it would use just the keys of the keyboard and the sounds of garageband. That's kind of what this keyboard is for in the first place though, the patches. Most people buy them and hook a larger keyboard up to them to play the same sounds with more range. In short, yes this will work, but if you're not going to use the patches, get a bigger keyboard, with full size keys.

  • So does this thing produce sound from it's own built in speakers or do I have to spend more money on some separately?

  • verry good vids but i have a question : what the name of the first music demo ? thanks

  • Can we use a small word instead of a vowel, in the vocoder? Is the vocoder on the XL better, or it just sounds improved because the mic in it is better?

  • Hey can this be used with programs such as FL Studios and Cubase as a regular MIDI controller?

  • @pablosheehan

    it.

    has.

    midi.

  • Got my microkorg a week ago, and it's an absolute beauty. the only question i have is this: what's the first sound you show? i've been looking for it, but i still haven't found it :p

  • @Kronus713 i think the voices he shows sound alot different in person because they are analog sounds.

  • @gibbsies every sound you'll ever hear is analog

  • @nathanihensel Hi there, I've had KORG apps before but never an actual KORG like this, but will get one. Question since you sound like you know these things, can I make/record a song then implement/record my normal voice perhaps with a slight echo to it and add it/mix it into a song I make with the synths? Like think of that song Shhh-Listen, but Jonah. Like that. Thanks for anyone who can help me.

  • when you edit one of the presets will it stay the way you edited it after you turn off the microkorg, or will it be reset back to the original preset sound

  • @thegreenapple33 you have to save it! shift 3 i guess

  • Is it monophonic?

  • @Violatemypuppy 4 voice polyphony

  • This is a beautiful implement

    I wish to own it

  • so the editor librarian. is that like a place where you save patches without them being on the mchine itself? like the patch librarian for the navation ultranova?

  • What to take, microkorg or microkorg xl? Hmmmm.... What are the differences?

  • **PLEASE ANSWER: Can you hook up the microkorg to a laptop to record and make a song?

  • The coolest thing in this video is your shirt! I want that.

  • Around the Kraft Music office, we call that style of shirt a "Formidoni"...also known as Urban Plaid. Being that Rich lives in NY, we take our fashion cues from him!

  • can you record and stack beats you make? or would you need a computer for that

  • Im getting mine this weekend! been waiting forever :)

  • Is it possible for me to record what I play right on my computer as I play it? I would like to record my songs and put em on YouTube.

  • @PranksterBrothers yes, its the basic premise of recording music. You'll need a digital audio workstation like Abelton, Cubase, or Logic.

  • @PranksterBrothers Just noticed that the other reply to your comment suggested software that costs serious £/$ so if you want simple recording, Audacity is a good freeware recorder...

  • Im thinking about purchasing this little monster from my local Guitar Center. My dream hobby for now would be making my own techno/trance songs and put them on YouTube. Is there a way, if I purchase this, to record right on my computer as I play it and edit there? Thanks!!

  • Does it have a filter?

  • does it do bass wobble?

  • @redstarrevolutionary if you're looking for dubstep, this probably isn't for you

  • @octoberguitaru2 i think this guy just improvised pretty good

  • Great demo, Kraft!

  • LIEBE

  • Does it work whitout speaker

  • that's the same model i've got it sounds like something out of ''Star Track'',it sounds like somebody's in the machine at times.

  • I got mine the other day and have been totally confused for the last couple days xD this vid helped me out a bit though, thanks ^_^

  • Glad our video helped you in learning your new microKORG. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

  • for some odd reason I prefer the sound of the classic microkorg over the xl...

  • I like this guy, he always gives some of the best demo's.

    5 stars!
