I advise this more than button cell battery cyclocomputers.
If you had a 12 volt battery on your bike to run a system of safety features, all you gotta do is subordinate it into a 5 volt USB system with a cigar lighter port that converts 12 volt to USB. It doesn't hurt to ask.
To compare what this guy did, and the "first professional cycling computer" for the ipod/iphone, namely the LiveRider. This guy still beat that by 2 years.
This guy was 3 years ahead of the game. iBike just came out with their phone booth to use iphones and ipod touch for bike computers and power meters. In 2008 the only power meters of note were thousands of dollars, requiring expensive cranks and wheel builds. One piece of software and this dude was 3 years ahead of everyone for an affordable power meter for the masses. I'd say he did a great job.
You must have no job or to much time on your hands because even the shityest of the shityest beath the ghetto piece of fuck, looks like a middle school science project that got an E-
or for 5 bucks you can go to walmart and get a bike computer.. sorry to kill your dreams but they have been out for a while and still look better than that
it seems you need not only the app but also a connection. Look at the dock port and the right side of video..many circuits..it seems its linked to a sensor that he puts somewhere in his bycicle

Rather than elastic bands to help hold the device on, I use hairbands. They last much longer and are much less liable to get old and break.
