@trendkill243 i'm not saying the entire new black tide is original, but this song is different. if i played shockwave for my dad he would have said it was motley crew.. the old black tide was copying old thrash metal, which was dope, but not original. this album you can tell they tried to develope their own identity and some of the album was original and some of it sounded like bullet for my valentine. regardless black tide is a good band and i hope the third album is combination of both styles!

@Swagmeister33 idk man... to me what I did not like about this album is that they lost that power in music...

almost every song on the album is like a song of punk all with the same clean voice I did not expect a light from above 2 but I expected a more powerful album .. expect the same metal band more mature whether or not they metalcore or nu metal Etc.

I think many people think like me and feel disappointed because they expected much more ...

@Swagmeister33 The fact that you added in the baseless 'unoriginal' shows how dumb you are. Want to know why? Because everything has been done. By what you imply, being original means becoming lazy and putting less effort into the harder aspects of music, being the instrumental part. For a musician of his level it'd be PISS easy to come off with a couple BFMV sounding tunes and get a couple hits. That's what most of you ignorant fools don't get. They did what would make money.

@JayRocka0617 Gabe didn't want Black Tide to become just another thrash metal band, so that's why they swicthed to a more popular albeit softer sound. It's similar to what Metallica did with the black album and master, they didn't want to be known for just a heavy sound but great songs.
