I hope you can find a long term position to get a better feel. I enjoyed reading "Teacher Man" by Frank McCourt as I ventured into the subbing world. Check it out. I know it sounds a bit arrogant, but I must say it is difficult for intelligent people like yourself to get along happily in public schools. Patience is my problem.

If you're going to teach in Texas, you'll likely come across some kids who the Hovinds of this world will have gotten their hooks into. They will need science teachers who can crush any creationist propaganda their pastors have given them. Your time debunking on YT will give you a head start at that!

Especially in South Austin. In the worse neighborhoods, there's like 3 churches in one block. I was like wtf. Also, if you're Asian like me, stay away from bars in Cedar Park lol. Wonder if he'll enjoy the I35 construction and traffic?
I love how they choose to do projects during rush hours and close down 2 of the 4 lanes. Then everyone rushes the to access road and traffic jam there too. Also, no helmet laws for motorcycle helps with the donor program and more traffic jams as well. I miss Austin lol, I really do. Then again, weather in California is unbeatable.
I remember one time between Waxahachie and Red Oak (I35E), a car got into this horrible accident with a bread truck.
That and one time I got off at an exit and when I was passed some slow fuck on the access road, a cop thought I went across the median. So he wrote a ticket, I went to court twice (first to get a hearing date wtf), and then on court day cop shows up and when it's my case, cop says "I was mistaken it was not him"
Austin PD at their best. They'll pretty much pull anyone over looking suspicious going through downtown, all the other areas they care less about.
It's always a semi truck, bread truck or a motorcycle. Since so much transportation goes through I35.
I hate when winter comes when people don't give a shit about the weather and drives anyways. You see people just going same speed and sliding out on black ice. When it gets more icy, people panic and buy every piece of bread off the shelves.
I also like the failure to use common sense that seems prevalent there. There is no law requiring helmets for motorcycles, and I seen plenty of morons gunning it down the road doing probably 90, in no leather and with no helmet.
It's not that I don't mind personal commentary about your life, but sometimes it would be better if you got to the point you're trying to make instead of semi-coherent rambling. It would probably be better if you were to plan what you were going to say first so there wouldn't be those long pauses where you wonder whether we're still watching. Viewership of videos tend to decrease when loggers do that overly often. Anyway, lucky for you I like cats. :)
