totally agree with ppl on here, why did bay nerf megatron so badly, in 1st movie prime got his ass handed to him easily then 2nd megatron seemed half what he was in the 1st, lets not even mention the 3rd!!! ALL HAIL MEGATRON!!!

@JasonVoorhees6661 Yeah i thought the way he destroyed sentinel was cool but for him then to get totally pawned is so shite, Megatron always used his wit as his main weapon so i found it very hard to believe him being jumped by prime so easily, they were both wounded so i would of settled for a epic battle like 1st movie but no human backup, + killing 2 of my fave characters off was a no no, 1st movie was good then bay lost his way imo

@P1Sephiroth - its the same has the fallen. Someone who could travel at the speed of light gets owned in 2 mins, but megatron was just never the same since he died in the first film. TF1 megatron had it all, he was quicker than optimus, he had all the weapons and his physical armoured body made it very hard for optimus to really damage megatron. Their final battle in TF1 summed up how stronger and agile megs was, there was no PPL about and megs just wears optimus down, which almost kills optimus

@P1Sephiroth - also they should have had megatron flee the scene in ROTF, and let megatron complete his new alternative mode. Has much as I loved sentinel as the main threat, they should have had megatron pull all the strings in DOTM and have one more epic battle with optimus. The optimus prime vs megatron rivalry is one of the most iconic rivalrys, and only it would have been fitting if DOTM had that iconic final battle where both were on top of their game

@GeorgedIDK Megatron wants the Allspark, thus he cannot shove it aside. Optimus wanted to destroy the Allspark, thus he had to go for the Allspark instead of finishing Optimus. Sam Witwicky uses the Allspark on Megatron, thus he dies.

Alternatively, Megatron shoves Sam, who is holding on the Allspark tightly, aside so that Sam can't reach him or Optimus. Megatron delivers the killing blow while Sam is aside. Of course, Sam could still have killed Megatron, but if he were as badass as you somehow *still* think he is, he could have killed Prime first.
