On one of my readings from the Bible, 1 Corinthians 2, if I still remember the chapter, prayer is the best communication with Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. And do it in the PRAY acronym, [Praise] Him for what He already have done in your life, [Repent] for what you have done wrong in His eyes, [Ask] and, [Yield]. Also P & R should be longer as the people in the Old Testament did. Of what they ask, in His will, they yield.:)

I would also like to point out that we have no real way of knowing if God is at work in a situation unless we ourselves are in that situation. God has every right to judge for a couple of reasons. One being that He is perfect and we are not.

@WikketKrikket This phrase isn't in the Scriptures but the reign of God is a major them in the Bible; see Psalm 47:8, 93:1, 96:10... etc. He reigns over everything in heaven and on earth. On one of my readings from the Bible, 1 Corinthians 2, if I still remember the chapter, prayer is the best communication with Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. And do it in the PRAY acronym, [Praise] Him for what He already have done in your life, [Repent] for what you have done wrong in His eyes, [Ask] and, [Yield]. Also P & R should be longer as the people in the Old Testament did. Of what they ask, in His will, they yield.:)

I would also like to point out that we have no real way of knowing if God is at work in a situation unless we ourselves are in that situation. God has every right to judge for a couple of reasons. One being that He is perfect and we are not.

The problem, I find most often, especially with non-believers, is that when they say "the Bible", they really mean "the Old Testament". I agree that the Old Testament is hard to swallow at times. But if you take it in context together with the New Testament, it actually makes sense (to me, anyway).

How opposite is the truth when He promises a life more abundant- an easy and light yoke compared to the burdens of this world! True life is in Him! It is no wonder that He is jealous of our fornications (anything that would absorb us into the cares or views of this world)- they blind us from His love!

I think about this song, and I ask myself, "Do I have the license to say this? Have I ever let my Lord reign in me, really? Have I given Him control of my life, or just pretended to?" I think that this song applies to the people who have never handed the reigns to the Lord God. Give the Lord your heart, soul, mind, and strength. It's all about Him - His glory, His Kingdom. @WikketKrikket This phrase isn't in the Scriptures but the reign of God is a major them in the Bible; see Psalm 47:8, 93:1, 96:10... etc. He reigns over everything in heaven and on earth. When we say Jesus is Lord we are declaring His rulership or reign in our hearts and minds. Jesus even said why do you call me Lord, Lord and don't do the things which I say Luke 6:46. You see this theme is paramount throughout the entire Bible and as Christians we are to be led by the Holy Spirit Rom 8:14.

But I would much rather have faith in god, and be wrong, then to not have faith, and be wrong. Because if I'm wrong nothing comes of it. @thesaints123 last time i checked.. which was a few months ago, atheist was around 3%.. and 12% in the USA.. im sure it didnt jump that fast.. Anyway, so god created hell since he loves us so much, he's not willing to just let us all into heaven. And maybe if your "non-ignorant" ass read properly.. you would see that i said that your life in heaven would be boring. Eternal life of nothing.. Just sitting around.. Its all bull.
