  • people suck all over the world!

  • People are sick!

  • Hey Hey stop fighting now there is abuse everywhere i am surprised at greece and it is so bad on the islands very good family orienteed people who are relgious i wish they would give animals a chance they are friends for life loyal, loving and deserve the respect of any human being! Its the government and police we all know they have animal laws but do not abide them think the EU should do someting with all EU countries they act on abuse or get chucked out the EU simples!

  • Listen ..Not only Greece that harm the dogs... Look at the people are still killing the cats and dogs in China DAILY! I am an American Greek. But I had no clue about this happening in Greec, because I was born in Southern California,U.S.A....still living in So. California..... Geez Sad about the dogs in Greece. Senseless people right? oh well

  • stin d,europi kai ameriki ta mazeoun kai ta vazoun gia yiothesia gia ena mina,,an den to yiothetisei kaneis se ena mina ta skotonoun oi politismenoi europaioi kai amerikanoi,,

  • @6510686 I cannot translate your text

  • @mrfurrylover Very rough translation: the bozo is remarking how "civilised" europe and the u.s. are!!! If an animal isnt adopted within one month, then it is killed!!

So I would like to remind him what "civilised" Greece does, dumps the animal back on the street to be abused, hit by traffic or euthanised the greek way, ie. by poison!!!

  • i think that you should say "deserted island" and no "remote".

  • I've been living on an Island for the past year now, and the things i've seen are fucking ridiculous. Whether the Islanders end up hating me or not, i intend to start a campaign that will hit them where it hurts; in their greedy pockets!

  • I can well believe it I lived in Greece for

a year, now I only go to Greece when I help

rescue some of the lucky few dogs who get

    out of that hell hole.

Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?

Feel free to private message me

  • @Riskyt69 funny i've been living on an island too for the past 10 months and i know, what the hell, do they not have regulations?

  • I can so imagine how all the greek people change the channel when they see something like this...my people are so ignorant towards animals!

  • That's the type of reply I would expect from someone who didn't have a brain.

  • Suffering on another living being, just for fun instead of necessity or survival.

The list of suffering by man to man and animals is far to big to list here needless to say I live my life without deliberatley inflicting suffering on anyone or anything and if other people were to do the same the world would be a far nicer place!!!

I speak for my furry friends as they cannot speak for themselves!!!

  • Greek dogs at the moment. All of which I know would be dead by now if myself and other like minded people hadn't intervened. The suffering is needless if your country would just take responsibility for your stray problem, other countries would help but you need to act in a correct way not just by sending out poisoning squads.

I protest against all forms of cruelty to man and beast. But in my eyes humans are the cruelist creature there is as they are the only animal who will deliberatley inflict

  • I certainly don't believe all Greeks are bad, to think that would make me an imbecile. Education is the key, all the time people in Greece are taught that animals dont have souls and don't feel pain it is no surpise this neglect continues. Refusing to neuter or spay the dogs is just irresponsible I am under no illusion I know the problem is widespread throughout Europe. But we are the ones who domesticated the dog it is our responsibility to make sure they are looked after. I have 7 rescued

  • @mrfurrylover hi i was looking at your vids and posts about greece, well i'm in sicily right now, been here for 10 months.. i've been trying to rescue dogs and kitties myself! feeding strays and trying to do all i can! writing to the mayor, etcc.. contacting animal rescue people.. but sicily is just like greece, and to tell you the truth, i have never been so depressed n my life!

  • White power a klu klux Klan member of summit but all that shows is how ignorant and stupid you are.

No animal deserves to be treated in this way by anyone, it doesn't matter what color someone is just that they treat others how they expect to be treated back. A dog is a living breathing creature that didn't ask 2 be put on this planet. It has emotions & feels pain the same as you&i, it has a mental age of a 3 yr old child so why is it acceptable 2inflict DELIBERATE suffering on that creature?

  • GreeceWhiteFront you obviously have issues

no1 you are a racist why does this not surprise me?

2 you would rather blame anyone else than accept resoncibility for people of your own nationalitys actions.

I am not saying all greeks do this but alot of the older generation see nothing wrong with treating animals this way

cruelty is cruelty fullstop, I am not saying other people of other nationalities don't commit cruelty they do. But don't blame everything on the foreigners. I know that you are all

  • Ever hears about the Thai immigrants? They have slaughtered pets in Peloponisos! It is in their culture to slay and eat animals like dogs. Why then Greek people have to be blamed again? And why the Greek people have to be blamed for every single crime caused by foreigners?

  • KateL06!

I too live in greece and have witnessed cruelty behond belief, you are living in a dream world if you believe what you are saying. I would say 80% of all greeks have abused or ignored some sort of animal cruelty, its how you were raised and the law doesnt help! I am english thank god cause i would be very ashamed to be a greek!

  • Go fuck yourself, you should be ashamed for living in Greece and being a racist. 80%??WTF?Most of the Greeks I've met have pets and they have never abused them.

  • Comment removed

  • Nobody is forcing you to live in Greece. Fuck off to England

  • why are u still hear again?i didn't get it asctually..have u ever though of going back to your precious rainy cold London?:) whatever it's all lies what u are sayin!and even tho there a few stupid and abnormal people that do this to animals it's not like they all gathered hear in greece!ever herd of what's going on in Canada with seal hunt?ever herd of some Asian countries that they slaughter dogs and eat them?most of the dog abusers in Greece are immigrants!and that is proven!

  • plus, i have some really creepy and sad stories that come all the way from beautiful and 'civilized' L.A.or how about the Rodeo Industry in U.S.A?do u even know what's going on arround the world or u have just focused on the Greek one just because u are probably a Greek hater?i recently went to Tunisia and visited a zoo and i saw all the animals there STARVING!take a trip see a few sides of the world not only the good ones and come back and tell me what the fuck did u see alright?see ya MATE!

  • i am too ashamed when i see animals suffer really, i my self have 2 dogs but to be honest with you i would be very ashamed to be an english even more because you MURDER BABIES, OPRESS AND INVADE OTHER PEOPLE'S COUNTRIES wake up because i assure you your country is the biggest murderer the world has ever seen. We would appreciate advices and help to improve the life of animals here in greece without your silly remarks please

  • To KateL06, you are wrong! You are a young, immature and inexperienced individual that has gone through your short life with blinders on, absorbed in sexual perversion. You could not possibly notice or understand what is going on in Greece, even with it happening right under your nose. Animal abuse is horrid in Greece. PERIOD!

  • Boycott Greece? How about boycott the USA for its cruel RODEO INDUSTRY??Animal abuse is present ALL OVER THE WORLD, it's just that you have animal officers and we don't. Shame on you for boycotting.

  • @Lollitsa

If you had a brain in that little head of yours, you'd see that most of the 'foreigners' who live in your country and who comment here, do so because they are faced with cruelty everyday. Yes, other countries are just as bad as Greece but we don't live there or see it first hand like here.

A boycott is an excellent idea. It's time the whole world gets to see just what happens in this beautiful country with it's un-civilised people.

  • Thank God I do have a brain and it's doing its job well. This is why I prefer doing things that help people realize animals deserve respect and love instead of boycotting -what?- my own country? Boycotting is evil and evil brings evil and will only make Greek people angry and not loving towards animals. Can your stupid mind realise this???Mine can!

  • Protesting is one thing, boycotting the country you're living in is another. The most neglected pets in the world? How about the civilized Japan and its horse slaughterhouses, China, Italy, the Balkans, Turkey?

  • oh really?and where are u from?America?u know darling my cousins live in OH-SO-GREAT L.A and they have told a few stories.such us people paying to see dogs fight to death or about PSYCOS that u canot find in Greece that fuck their pets etc..or let's talk about Canada shall we?there's this Greek group in facebook that is against seal hunt and it shows exactly how these Canadians murder seals infront of their kids.soo u better shut ur stupid mouth and try to see what happens in your dirty country!

  • Wake up Kate, dog fighting is HUGE in Greece! And the Greek slaughterhouses are horrific - did you not know that Greek has been castigated more times by the EU for the shocking inadequacies and routine suffering by animals in its slaughterhouses than any other EU country? Instead of pointing your finger at other countries, why not start at home as Greek has by far the worst animal abuse of any EU member country. I wish the EU would kick Greece out...it's a waste of our money....

  • Mpastarrrda elloines!!!!

  • And believe me Greece would change its policy in a matter of days if not hours plus the Government spokesman would apologize.

  • I am going say something. I am Greek and yes that's a very big shame-one of many of the country.

The Greeks will never change politics towards almost anything unless Greece is being hit at three main factors:

    1) Tourism

    2) European Funding which supports the Budget at the greatest extent.

    3) Agricultural products.

If i was a foreigner i would embargo those three heavily.

  • abusing animals is a crime , nevertheless this video is part of an organized hate campaign that try's to present Greek people as savages , the motivation behind this video is ethnic hate , there are 3200 active links in my page of hate contractors spreading hideous lies about people they don't even know , pay a visit here and you will understand what i say

  • Greece's treatment of animals is an absolute disgrace.

Animal abuse and neglect is rife in the country. I had the misfortune to go there on holiday in May 2008 and I was appalled at what I witnessed.

    SHAME ON YOU!

  • what are u talking about?these fucking things happen EVERYWHERE u go!and honey i have been all around the world and i have seen MUCH MUCH worst things that made me cry my freaking ASS off!Greece LOVES animals!u have been here for like what 10 days?i live here my whole life and there is not one Greek i have met that hates animals!i am not telling you that these so-called-"people" don't live in Greece but there are MUCH MUCH WORST things that happen in the rest of the world!

  • @blastbeat71 what about your country?do you put them to euthanasia?

  • @blastbeat71 greece's treatment of animals? i remember some US Soldiers who threw puppys alive of the cliff, i also remember some spanish/mexican/ameriacan shit called bullfighting and you call us greeks to be on shame? there are bastards who treat animals like this and even worse world wide,

  • looks like they are trying to help, rescue dogs they can, just like usa has rescue groups too. but can we find all the puppy mills overnight? no. Some are doing best to re-teach people, and help animals where they can. The one dog was so cute smiling, that is a good greeting, stressed, but submissive. But also they have to move slow, could be mixed with fearful stess too, they seem to respect that.

  • Unfortunately too few are trying to help. It is not really like the US. We have national humane organizations and enforce laws of cruelty. Gov't in Greece does nothing. Many Greeks are ignorant about sterlization, care and humane treatment of animals. We are working with our organization, inside/out, to take volunteers to Greece to provide education and assistance. The problem requires action and pressure from outside the country. There is simply not enough help within Greece.

  • This morning I uploaded a slideshow video here entitled Mass Poisoning Starting in Greece Again, showing once again what goes on at the end of each tourist season.

  • This is just horrifying but nothing seems to be done about it, please go to the Greek Animal Rescue site and sign the petition in the hopes their governement will listen. It is good so see so many Greeks who try to help the situation and put humanity before patriotism.

  • FFS i am from greece and i think greeks are fucking stupid to do this I helpd 4 dogs today feeding them HELP THEM DONT HURT THEM U ARE ANIMALS TOO REREMBER

  • Bravo, savedogspls - I know there are many Greeks who care about animals, unfortunately most are indifferent,if not downright cruel. We have EIGHT ex-strays from Greece in our home (UK), 3 of them were 'cruelty cases'... some barbarian cut the tendons on Bonzo's hind legs (on Crete, in 2000).His operations (in UK) to help him walk again cost more than £4,000.Have a look at another tragic slide show - it's called 'Animal abuse Greece'. The world should know about the plight of animals in Greece!

  • And these sick people were allowed to host the 2004 Olympics? Now is not 1000 B.C.

    A bunch of NAZIS!

  • thats not the only country thats made these kind of things....

  • olympic games is a greek custom that has been stolen from the rest countries of the world.u better thank greece for beginning this idea&now your country can host it since your country has stolen greek culture!this man who left the pets is not like all greeks, he is stupid, maybe even more stupid than you.greeks are mediteranean people with feelings.most of them, not all!so, stop being agressive to greek people because greeks loves the rest people of the world and the animals!have a nice day!

  • I live in Greece and this does not suprise me at all, unfortunately the Greek Authorities do not enforce their animal cruelty laws, because of this i have started a petition if you want to help please mail me for the link. Thank you

  • what are u talking about?ppl that do this to animals in greece find the worst punishment of all..they kill them!!!!did u not herd what happent with that turkish piece of shit in xios island?he burned the dog with boiling oil and now authorities people all over greece and everybody that fights againg animal cruelty are looking for him!he;s not alloud to return to college and he;s hiding in england!greeks love animals and as all the countries arround the world there are some assholes but..the die!

  • Executing someone for such barbaric cruelty would be justifiable in my opinion, but I think you will find this just an isolated incident as many people get away with it and the Greek government know it happens. You must have seen how thousands of cats and dogs were "removed" with Government knowledge just prior to the 2004 Olympic Games. As I said in an earlier comment, humanity comes before patriotism so thankfully there are many greeks trying to help the situation.

  • He was expelled from the university, she's right about that, I heard it on the news. He wasn't a Turk though, he was a Cypriot student.

  • fucking sick bastards, in the winter i will go and feed all the strays, if i had the money i would set up a rescue centre, any donations for land plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • How can you be so cruel, to leave those animals on an abandoned island ?

    Shame on you !

    ..I..

To the rescue-team: great job !

  • Poor dogs ..

it is good people who save the dogs but that people who do this to dogs should be treated in the same way !

animals have feelings like people !!!
